Old school, Detroit style bar with charbroiled burgers. It’s about the only place left in Detroit where you can find one. I literally drive across town just to get one on the regular. Makes me nostalgic for the days Detroit had charbroiled burgers everywhere.

I have been going to Shamrock for over 20 years! It is my favorite place to have a GREAT BURGER & Guinness! Service is excellent and the Shamrock is a great place to take friends and family for the BEST burger in town hands down!!!

The burger was cooked perfectly. We asked for seasoned fries I was expecting something a little more exciting than just salt and pepper. Don't waste the extra dollar you can do it yourself. I only ate half my burger and I wanted to take the rest home but they didn't have any carry out containers. I can imagine all the food wasted tonight and all the hard earned money spent on food that patrons couldn't take home as a result, and enjoy later. Instead it will all be thrown out behind the bar at the end of the night after paying full price for it. That's a shame. There's a GFS right up the road. Maybe should have sent someone up there to buy containers before the dinner rush? I also didn't like the lighting. Way to bright for a bar/grille and there were a bunch of kids there. Loud as well. On a good note, service was really good.
