Best onion rings I've ever had. The waitress was great but was trying to serve the entire restaurant and the bar by herself. Did great but needed some help.

We've been looking for a nearby Irish Restaurant and were surprised to find one in Vernon, Michigan! I enjoyed the Reuben with their house-made potato chips, and a 1/2 1/2 Harp/Guinness. My wife had the Scotch eggs and a side salad. All the food was great and we really enjoyed ourselves. We're making plans to return again real soon!!

This was the second time we visited Sherman’s and, I hate to say it but, what a huge disappointment. The first visit we had a delicious Reuben sandwich but on this second visit we tried their chili which was their special of the day for only $5. After about 3 bites, I realized it was the worst chili I’ve ever had and, I can’t say I’ve ever had a bad chili before in my life. There were no beans, no signs of any tomatoes, and it had the strangest taste. We wondered afterwards if maybe we were served their coney dog sauce instead but, I wouldn’t even want that on my hot dog. Not sure I’ll make the drive from Flushing again although, I do love the Irish decor and figure we just had one bad experience.

This was my second time at Sherman's. I had the cod basket and it was excellent! I highly recommend it, the hand cut fries were also excellent. Very nice, clean, family oriented environment. This review was easily a 5 out of 5 until the last 10min of the night. I was finishing my drink and realized they were closing( i didn't know they closed at 10 it was only my 2nd time) at that point the cook started getting upset at me and I wasn't even sure why? I told him my meal was excellent and left. Now my card has been charged $20 over what I authorized. I'm hoping maybe I just showed up on an off night. Other than that incident. I would highly recommend!

Delicious food and wonderful service. Our party had the Steak and onion, Ruben, Ham and cheese, and fish sandwich! All delicious. The Ruben egg rolls are the bomb!!
