This was my second time at Sherman's. I had the cod basket and it was excellent! I highly recommend it, the hand cut fries were also excellent. Very nice, clean, family oriented environment. This review was easily a 5 out of 5 until the last 10min of the night. I was finishing my drink and realized they were closing( i didn't know they closed at 10 it was only my 2nd time) at that point the cook started getting upset at me and I wasn't even sure why? I told him...
The Scotch eggs and dipping sauce were awesome. The Guinness on draft, however, was not that great. I think they need to check their system or clean the lines or something. It just tasted off. Great atmosphere though. I will be back to try more items.
First timer! Food was great..had bangers & mash and fish and chips..Guinness batter! Golden sangria amazing ...highly recommend and will definitely be back! Staff was so friendly!! Hidden ?!
