I'm becoming quite the regular here. I'm obsessed with the Sauv Blanc. I'm sure the other beer and wines are great as well! It's obvious this establishment really cares about quality and a lot of research has gone into making beer, wine and cider. It's always fun to see the entertainment acts as well. I almost forgot to mention the super friendly staff! 🤗 Keep making, I'm going to keep coming.🙌👏
The Whistle is a no frills, down to earth, small town brewery. No food, just beer, wine and sometimes cider, seltzer and sodas. Beer is usually solid.. sometimes awesome, sometimes meh, but you can always find one you like. You can bring or order in food from the local restaurants. Lots of live music. This place screams local small town Midwest brew pub. Oh, and Emily rocks.
Small town craft breweries come in all shapes, sizes, and various qualities of taste. A person who loves this creative-craft-culture, loves the experience of tasting someone's talent.
When I first started going to The Distant Whistle Brewhouse, I quickly found the beauty in this arrangement. They've even become a place to mark the turning seasons with their winter stout, "SnoBall".
I'm thankful to have such a locationally close brewery, inspiring people...
