Why in the ever loving balderdash buddy's wanted to have a takeout only location is beyond me. They do make proper buddy's pizza so that's good, but just make the drive over to the one on 28th Stree and sit down and enjoy buddy's the way god intended.

Staff was friendly, but pizza was terrible! I definitely should’ve tried a single slice at lunchtime instead of shelling out $53 blindly to try something new. Pizza just had no flavor at ALL, their marinara sauce is literally just unflavored runny tomato sauce, it tastes like canned tomato sauce and is definitely NOT marinara. Soft breadsticks were also flavorless and icky. There is NO SAUCE under the cheese on their pizza, only drizzled on top, so its very dry, basically cheese bread with toppings. The salad and wings were good. Such a great location but sadly can’t see this place lasting unless there are some serious recipe changes. We should’ve got Jets or a Little Caesars deep dish instead, way cheaper and better tasting. Disappointing and left us all hungry. Ugh :(

I have never had a pizza that tasted so horrible I would never ever try again and didn't even want to eat it. This was our first time trying it and I was horribly horribly disappointed. It tasted like eating burnt grease. There was nothing we could put on it to cover the disgusting taste nor any part that we could just avoid eating to still have it salvaged. Even our kids hated it. I would never buy again even if it was cheaper (it is way too costly especially for how bad it was). We appreciate the service being friendly and good for pick up, but there is absolutely no way we will ever get this again or recommend it to anyone we know.

I ordered online for take out. The online site could use some work to look nicer but honestly it worked as expected and really well. The selections were amazing, but kind of pricey. This didn't stop me from picking up some favorite toppings, and trying out a buddy's pizza. Staff was polite and kind in getting my order for me once it was ready, and overall everything was really good.

We picked up buddy’s pizza for dinner last night and were not impressed! The pizza tasted like a frozen Red Baron pizza that I could buy at the grocery store for $6.99. It was not crispy, not cheesy and overall disappointing. I will be going with jets for Detroit style pizza moving forward, it’s far better and far cheaper!

Do you know how hard it is to enjoy food once you’ve had to go GF/DF. Do you know how hard those options are to find. Do know how expensive it is. Well I came across Buddy’s by happenstance and after examining the menu online, finding that they had GF crust and DF cheese 4 square pizza (in my head like Jets) for 12$ - I said I’d try. I’ve never had DF cheese prior. But then the bill came out to 18$-not showing any upcharges on any items. I was like…ok but maybe I’ll enjoy it. BIG NOPE. BIG YUCK. I’m lucky I have a toaster oven at work bc it was undercooked for a GF and DF item. And it was loaded with soo much cheese - barely tasted anything. There’s was NO resemblance of a “4 square pizza”, no cuts, no slices, just corners of a slab of bread on an aluminum sheet covered in toppings, dashed with sauce on top Even after cooking at 400° in the toaster oven for additional 20 mins I still threw away over half. Big NOPE!Be nice to get my money back…18$ for a listed 12$ pizza ?

The pizza is just ok. It's not good and it's not terrible, but for the price you would expect much better. Little Caesars has much better pizza for much cheaper. Dough doesn't taste fresh, like it's been frozen. Quite Unimpressed. Won't be going here again. I'm sure that this location will be gone in no time.

Great takeout pizza and salads place! It's an excellent place for lunch or dinner. Only takeout and has less items than a standard Buddy's but what they offer is fresh and amazing.Vegetarian options: Lacto vegetarian can easily find many options here. Our favorites are all different veggie pizzas
