Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

One of our favorite restaurant to eat when we up in grand rapids. Food is good. Love the pot roast and roasted mushrooms. Crew are friendly. Our daughters love to eat here. I have a daughter that have food allergy and she is not a big fun of eating in a restaurant because of her allergy but she get excited everytime we eat here. She love the Mac and cheese .

I'm sure the food taste pretty good if you're homeless or just out of jail, but that's the only way it would taste good. And if you fall under either of those categories you wouldn't be able to afford it anyway because it was $44 for 2 people and 2 large drinks. Also our waitress was MIA pretty much the entire time and it was really cold inside. Never again.

My latest visit 6/29/22 was AMAZING! Tabitha, our waitress, was spot on and friendly. Our table was consistently cleared of debris, and our beverage glasses never went dry. She was always checking to make sure we and others diners had what we needed and was hands down the best waitress we’ve had anywhere in a really long time. The food was also really good. We got there around 11:30 so it was very fresh. I also noticed the manager walking around checking the food to ensure quality and correcting staff on food prep when necessary. Overall, I was VERY impressed -lots of attention to detail from ALL staff to ensure we had a good experience.

Was there on Wednesday the 25th of May. My husband told the cooks the chicken was raw and bloody on the inside. The same batch of chicken was still sitting there after 20 minutes. Told management and they said I make a note of it and get it corrected. Never did. Kids were touching the food with their hands. Nothing was ever done. I called the health dept and made a complaint. This place has went from good to worst place to eat for a buffet. Never again!

The food was not great...I guess it was exactly the quality I expected at a buffet like this. The salad bad looked awesome until I saw slimy bits in the spinach. The diced hard boiled eggs were crunchy sounding when I tried to scoop them up. I asked the waitress to refill our drinks twice and eventually had to approach a waiter at the stand instead and just had him refill it for me. The dessert looked so awesome but the pie was watery and the brownies had the texture of that slime you make out of Borax and glue. The brussel sprouts were so horrible my daughter literally had to spit them out. She described them as three day old reheated frozen ones. My positives are that we were all able to find a few scoops of things that were edible. And my kids qualified for kid buffet at age 14 which was unexpected. I'd never ever go back......maybe I just have high food quality standards??? I am not sure....there were a lot of people PILING food on their plates. Of course they all looked like they were trying out for the next episode of My 600 Pound Life. Good luck!!

What a delicious surprise! We were on a large group outing and chose Golden Corral so that everyone could find their joy...and we did! Amazing fresh salad bar...fruits, greens, toppings, Barbecued meats, grilled fish, tacos, potatoes, gravies...SO MANY FRESH, DELICIOUS CHOICES...and the desserts. Oh my heart. Wonderful!

We liked it.. value for what we pay..First time visiting an American buffet restaurant...Lots of varieties... starting from soup then Chicken,fish, shrimp and ribs. They have both baked and fried options in fish , shrimp and chicken which we liked. They even had 3 types of rice.. taco options. Separate salad and dessert section with juice and ice cream. We almost tasted everything..They ask you to get drinks first and bill it before we start dining. Keep in mind that drinks are refillable and charged extra ..

Food was good. Some servers and other staff seriously need to learn customer service manners. A Server cut between family members in front of us, to get herself a glass then again to get it filled. A few minutes later she was back, cut in front on the couple behind us. I'd had it, I said "seriously, you need to say "excuse me" when you step in front of a customer to serve yourself. I Said she owed the lady an apology. She did not. Customers are your real bread and butter, respect and service are what brings people back. We'll not be back to suffer this lack of management training our $$$ are marching out the door.

The food was cold and had no flavor! When it did have flavor it was salt! We had to find a manager to get refills and she was super nice I give her all the credit!! Our waitress or rather glorified busser, tried blocking our table off with chairs even though there was clearly food and drinks on it as a way to be petty. 10/10 wouldn't recommend.

I will definitely say not the cleanest of places, it's a buffet, what do you expect. For the most part, tables are clean, food is pretty warm. But our favorite part is our server, Renee. My kids love her and she's always so kind, she does her job quickly, and thoroughly. She's always there (even on her days off) and she's always got a smile!!!

This place was the best, to die for in some words. The soft serve ice cream was so creamy and solid (in a good way) the pizza was super good and don’t even get me started on the carrot cake. Super cheap too amazing food and the people were super cool I met Elvis Presley and my favorite waitress of all time Marty. But in other words looks can be deceiving at the golden coral. Picture this, you see a well fried chicken tender and it turns out to be rock by the side of the road. Eat with caution because after your stomach will hurt ?

We came for lunch after waiting thru the pandemic for this location to reopen.. It was better than I remembered! Haven't been here in years and everything was fresh and good...especially the Pot Roast, potatoes, carrots, and onions with my side of Ranch it was so tender and juicy! The veggies has the just the right amount of firmness they weren't overcooked. The fried chicken was AMAZING! I normally don't eat dark meat unless it wings...but their thighs are so crispy and well cooked. My husband had fried okra, BBQ chicken, cheesy potatoes, and a cheeseburger all of which looked delish as well. Will definitely be going back soon with the grandkids

steaks were raw, couldn't get it well done, popcorn shrimp was just crunchy breading, and for $20 per person, not again

the food was great the service was great Pri-Pri was an awesome waitress
