The people are friendly and the food is SO good! The only reason for 4 stars, not 5, is that they are only open 4 hours per week = 16 hours per month. I was told that the owners had other jobs and obligations. They must be good ones! Because this place could be a little goldmine, if it had regular m-f or m-s hours!

I was looking for a place to eat last Sunday and found this place at 11am. I read the reviews and saw people mentioning a line and drove straight to Standale.

I got there at 11:45 and there was a line of 20 people or so. I waited patiently and had put in my order and received my food by 12:30 or so.

I went with a friend and it was a lot of fun. We got there about an hour before opening and got to talk to the pit master and he was incredibly kind as he explained his process for doing what they do.

While waiting in line for them to open they came out with water for us all, as it was a warm one.

We ordered one of each meat and each side. The ribs (St Louis), meatball and turkey were surprises to me. The cornbread and beans were standouts...
