Uccello's Ristorante- Standale

I visited Ucello on Sunday, November 16th, 2025 at 7:27 PM as a delivery driver to pick up a customer’s order. When I arrived, I told the employee I was there to pick up a Grubhub order under the name listed in the app. The employee handed me the item, I confirmed the pickup in the app, and then notified the customer that I was on my way.

Midway through the delivery, I realized the restaurant had not provided the drink that was supposed to come with the order. On my end, the app did not clearly show that a drink was included, so I initially believed the order was complete. Once I noticed the oversight, I immediately contacted the customer and returned to the restaurant to pick up the missing drink.

As someone who strives for excellent customer service — reflected in my 4.6-star rating and 11 five-star reviews — this situation was disappointing because it prevented the customer from receiving the seamless experience I aim to provide. While I corrected the issue, the mistake originated at the restaurant and caused unnecessary delay.

I hope Ucello improves its order accuracy so that both customers and delivery drivers can avoid these kinds of situations in the future.

Once again Uccello's doesn't disappoint. Haven't found an item on the menu that I do not like. Food is excellent, staff is so friendly and pleasant, building is clean and atmosphere is cozy.

Fungi pizza had like a single mushroom sliced up, which was pretty much all the toppings. Seems like a fungi pizza should be loaded with mushrooms! The flavor was great, but for a pizza that’s almost $25 and 14 inches, it felt like there weren’t enough toppings. All of the other pizzas were great and good on toppings. This one was just the one most we’re excited for and slightly let down. I think this is a newer item, so hopefully they dial it in.

Barely a wait, even on busy evenings! Great variety of food and nice open sections for large parties or to watch a game. Grabbed a to-go menu so I can cross off items as I make my way through to try everything! I'll be returning often to visit my kid at GVSU and this is a definite stop for a good meal.

We’ve always been happy w/ our service @ Uccellos Standale, weather it be dine in, takeout or delivery. Food & especially the pleasant staff service are excellent!
