I used to go here as a 8-10 y/o, I'm 42 now. My dad worked at the Marathon on the corner. I was friends with the owners son (I believe it has changed hands since I was a kid). The food was really good I have nothing but fond memories of this place.
We have been ordering from Boon Kai for years. The food is always hot and fresh. The new owner is always upbeat and friendly. The value is fantastic. And you can't go wrong getting a carryout from here. Appreciate it!
TLDR: First time, would recommend, good food, great price, and will be back.To be honest the main reason we wanted to try this Chinese restaurant is because they are SAVAGE with Karen’s in the reviews haha. But after getting the food I’d come back for sure. I was happy they ACTUALLY made my General Taos “extra spicy” like I asked. I’m sweating haha. Soooo many times I ask other restaurants for extra spicy and they don’t seem to do anything. BOON Kai came through....
