Gus’s Carryout Walled Lake

maybe it's my fault for not paying attention. Just walked in from the howell location. so, was there at like 610pm. I ordered a full bag, and ranch. she gave me a half bag, and no ranch. I come here all the time, and I've never had this happen before. I'm a cook. I work as a cook professionally. I understand having a long day, or just a bad one. but come on. 10 dollars for half a bag of bread sticks and no ranch?

Always good, always consistent. Breadsticks are the best around. we had a non traditional Thanksgiving this year with Gus's Carryout.

I called and asked for a fried chicken dinner for a family of 4 the person that took the order negleted to say their chicken is broasted not fried. Chicken tasted liked it was boiled first then put in an oven to sorta cook the skin. Nasty chicken then the mac and cheese sad. I could go on but i won't be back. Then i called back to confirm when you ask for fried chicken what they say and they still didn't clarify the chicken is broasted not fried. Sad they have to trick you to buy there food. Second time i tried them wont be back!!

Very disappointed that Gus' has substituted a "cheap" store bought (?) pizza crust vs the hand tossed crust !!! Will NOT order another pizza from them.

Wonderful experience! No hassle ordering. Food was ready on time and delicious. We had fantastic fried chicken, pasta, ribs, Breadsticks and salad. Had a work lunch to celebrate employees birthdays and we all enjoyed it. We will definitely order again. Thank you!!

Insulting prices. 4 bucks for a regular Gatorade. 8 bucks for a tiny salad.

It was a hot day, nearly 100°. I was feeling light head and needed to eat but didn't want typical fried microwaved fast food. I'm so happy I found this gem!! I'm in the area for work every few weeks. Can't wait to stop in again! Quality ingredients and tasted fresh.

Annoying that the last two times ordering part of the order was not with our pick up. Food is decent but having to go back again to pick up the rest of the order each time is more of an inconvenience.

Went to Gus’s for a carry out got a large pizza with ham, mushrooms, and bacon. I also got an order of mostaccioli and a salad. Overall the food was really good and the portion size is very large. Would recommend 100% the sauce on the pasta was great. Pizza was cooked perfectly and the breadsticks are top notch. Will be recommending and coming back again!

A.J. and Jada were so friendly and helpful. I got some food the other day; it was so tasty and pretty fast, I might add. I love coming in here to get a quick bite. They are definitely the new best thing to happen in Walled Lake. Super friendly good price and fast service what more could you ask for.

I grew up in Howell. This gus's can't seem to get it right. Gus's bread sticks are famous, why can't this store get it right? Why are they flat and weird?

How does the pizza come with too much cheese and practically no toppings? I've worked in the industry so I'm asking this for two reasons, how are you profiting with that much cheese waste and why on earth would you skimp on the dirt cheap toppings?

Last few pizzas came almost white, cheese not browned at all, maybe 12 pepperoni slices on the whole large pizza. I'm looking at the picture above and thinking, yes that's what i want, what is the problem?!? I'm going to try again maybe next week but if it's exactly that same as it's been, I'm leaving this review and giving up.

Whomever runs this store, please look for guidance from the original stores. You're not doing it right.
