I called a couple of weeks in advance, reserved a table, and ordered the foods for 12 people. Chef Jeff discussed each dish with me on the phone. I like the fact that Jeff shopped for the fresh ingredients after he received the orders. When I and my guests arrived at the restaurant at 6:30 PM tonight, the foods were served exactly as planned, one course after another. I rarely leave reviews but all 5 menu items we shared at the table might have been in the top 5 for each plate I have ever had. I eat out at least 5 times a week for the last 10 years across the USA and Europe. It’s just two people custom cooking your meal and serving you. Food comes out ever few minutes and you have to order ahead. It’s a true experience. This might be one of the best restaurants in the Midwest .
The food was phenomenal. My family and I shared 7 different dishes and each one was incredible. I can't imagine why anyone would leave a negative review. The soup dumplings were amazing, as was the shrimp, flounder, duck, veggie stir-fry, veggie dumplings, and fish maw soup. My whole family loved it and everyone was so nice. I'll 100% go back again. I've never had such good food, of any nationality
