Went to the general store, always friendly people, and good coffee
Great place the girl at the front serving us was awesome.
This is hands down one of the best local spots around! The staff is always so friendly and welcoming, and the owners are genuinely some of the nicest people you’ll meet. The prices are fair, portions are generous, and they’re always happy to let you sample different flavors before you choose (which is great, because they have so many!). There’s an amazing variety, and the seasonal flavors are a fun bonus.
On top of the ice cream, they offer seasonal items from their farm like mums and pumpkins, which makes every visit feel special. The farm animals out back are such a unique touch and really make it a family-friendly experience.
Between the incredible service, great value, delicious ice cream, and the charming farm atmosphere, this place is a true gem. Definitely a 5-star experience every time!
Best place ever!! Service was amazing of course and the ice cream tasted whimsical and splendid!
Staff is very friendly and welcoming. They really do hook you up relating to samples, though Coconut Chocolate Almond has to be my favorite flavor and I can't seem to find anything like it. So definitely recommend if you're trying to find a nice place to get ice cream and feed some goats, (I believe based on memory it's either $1-$2 dollars for a bag of feed) though if you plan on doing this try and bring some hand sanitizer!
I have been coming to Frontier Town since I was a child with family. Last Saturday 9/13/25 was the first bad experience at Frontier Town’s Ice Cream Parlor we’ve ever had. We had been walking our lunch off around the shops for a while and we decided we could go for a scoop of ice cream. While walking to the ice cream shop an elderly woman using a walker was crossing the walkway to go into Shernni Candies. We politely stopped walking to let her and her family cross. Another gentleman had stopped across from us. Before the elderly woman could get across a middle aged woman with shorter brown hair rudely sped in front of her, cut her off and didn’t even say excuse me. We let the elderly woman cross and continued down to the ice cream parlor. Upon entering it’s just like it used to be. Cutesy decor and waffle cone smells. I couldn’t decide on what flavor I wanted so I asked the younger woman behind the counter for a sample. She promptly handed me a sample of the pumpkin flavor. It was honestly too soft for me so I decided to try one more before I made my decision. Then the middle aged, brown haired woman came into the store and walked behind the counter. Then I realized she must work there too. As the middle aged woman got my second sample for me she said “You can only get two samples. You know that right?” I’ve worked in customer service for 10 years. I’m sure she meant well and it’s just a company policy but I personally would never speak to a customer in that condescending manner. I felt so uncomfortable after she spoke to me like I was just trying samples and not going to buy anything that we left. Without taking the second sample from her or buying anything. This experience left such a bad taste in our mouths that we will no longer be returning to Frontier Towns Ice Cream Parlor with our family. For future reference, a nice way to say that would be “Just to let you guys know there is a store policy of only trying two samples”. Adding a smile would be a nice touch for customers too.
Make sure you stop by the candy shop Nextdoor! The whole shopping center is a hidden gem.
Good variety.
ICE CREEEEEEEEM😝🤪
A little overpriced. But the ice cream is good. Don't get the boston cooler if you're expecting it to be blended.

A Sweet Stop Worth Every Pedal Stroke
After a long solo ride beneath towering trees and sunlit fields along the Macomb Orchard Trail, I found myself coasting into a little Western-inspired village — Frontier Town, a place where time slows and cravings become urgent truths.
There, tucked into a quaint strip that feels more like a movie set than a strip mall, sits the Frontier Town Ice Cream Parlor. The sign was modest, the storefront unassuming, but it beckoned like an oasis in the desert of my calorie deficit.
I stepped inside — helmet askew, legs buzzing with exertion — and was met with the friendliest service this side of 31 Mile. No judgment. Just smiles, samples, and a quiet understanding that sometimes what you need isn’t water or protein, but a double scoop of something glorious in a waffle cone.
The ice cream? Divine. Creamy, flavorful, indulgent without apology. I don’t remember the exact flavor — exhaustion will do that to a person — but I remember how it made me feel: alive, refreshed, vindicated.
Outside, there were plenty of places to sit, exhale, and take in the surroundings. A family laughed over cones nearby. The breeze lifted the scent of sugar and pine from the nearby trail. It was one of those rare, cinematic moments that sneaks up on you in real life — the kind you don’t plan, but are so glad you didn’t miss.
Whether you’re conquering the trail or just in search of a little joy, this place is the perfect stop.
Used to come here as a kid, now I’m able to bring my mother. Love Frontier Town.
Nice little place to stop when you're out on a motorcycle ride
Lovely Ice Cream shop to visit, all kinds of yummy Hershey's flavor ice cream's to choose from in many different ways, dipped cones, malts, shakes, floats, or take some home with you from the cooler :-)
Good ice cream and friendly faces. My favorite is a dairy-free chocolate chunk flavor that actually tastes like it was designed to be dairy-free instead of being weird or gross
