My family has been dining here for 30 years. Yesterday was our last time. We went to celebrate my mom's 75th birthday. Everything was going well, until our main dishes were brought out, except the dino ribs my mom ordered. We were told it would be a few more minutes until they were ready. Sure, no problem. We waited a little to begin eating, but after it became obvious they weren't coming out, we started eating. It wasn't until we were about 1/3 of the way into our meals that our waitress came back and apologized and said they don't have any ribs tonight. Wouldn't that be something she would have been told when she put the order in, or when the cook started preparing our order, or when she picked up the rest of our meals? Now having to order a new meal, my mom chose the medium rare prime rib, knowing it was already cooked and wouldn't take too long to prepare. The waitress said we might get a little something off for the inconvience. Ok, fine. Our waitress never came back to our table, walking past us, not looking at us. We watched meal after meal come out of the kitchen, but no sign of my mom's meal. It wasn't until we were completely finished with our meals and plates had been cleared that she finally came over when I made eye contact with her (still no food). My mom told her at this point to just wrap it up, as she didn't want to sit there and eat with us being done already. I honestly don't know if she hadn't come over how much longer we would have had to wait. After that we had a new waitress. She brought our bill with nothing adjusted. We said their was mention of an adjustment, so she took it to management, came back and said we could have dessert or 10% off. Since we were doing dessert back at the house, we opted for the 10%. It wasn't 10% off the bill, it was 10% off my mom's meal - $3.00. She wasn't kidding - "a little something". We weren't looking for a free meal, just some respect as customers. Mistakes happen; it's how the business handles it that matter to me. At no time did the owner or manager come over to apologize or check in on us. The waitress could have offered to bring more bread so my mom had something to nibble on while the rest of the table was eating. She could have checked on us, at least once would have been nice, let us know how the meal was coming. Not pretend like we didn't exist. Any of these things would have gone a long way to make the situation a little more bearable. I will say my prime rib was very tasty, albeit cold. They messed up two cheeseburger orders, but we didn't mention any of that, because it was minor and we could work around it. But my poor mom did not have a very enjoyable birthday dinner. Thanks for the $3.00. Too bad you lost five customers over it.

Just had their signature prime rib it melted in your mouth. The spices were incredible weight staff was a tentative, and their calamari was fantastic. Highly recommended.

My 7-member family celebrated my husband’s birthday here and it was 5-star all the way…our server Michelle was so attentive, our drinks were never lower than half full, and she was so friendly and pleasant she took pictures of us. I foolishly forgot to take food pictures, but it was all great, visually appealing and delicious and everyone was extremely satisfied!
When we lived in Rochester,we enjoyed bringing the kids,35 years ago or so,had lunch there today and it was excellent! Outstanding prime rib, veal Parmesan, and Bailey, our waitress was attentive and friendly. Will be a regular

Horrible experience! We reserved for a party of 30 for a 90th birthday party. After picking 3 meals that people could choose from, they added $10 to the price of each meal. For the steak meal, they added $15 dollars. They said it was their "banquet pricing". Nothing was said about this when the reservation was made. These meals were the same as off the regular menu - but we couldn't even choose our own sides and vegetable but had to pay the higher prices. What a scam! Will never go back there.

This restaurant reminds me of an orchestral piece with 3 parts when I eat at The Apple Orchard Inn. One can wax lyrical of the plating(magical), service(immaculate) ambiance (comfortable)and food(exquisite). This is an unassuming and wonderful restaurant. Great variety of food with high quality presentation, service and inventiveness. The chef at this establishment is obviously culinary experienced.A highlight of our dining experience, however, was, our server Michelle. We've been there many times but this was the first time Michelle was our waitress. She is extremely polite, attentively wonderful, knowledgable, funny and very friendly. She had other tables but never failed to make sure we didn't need anything; made our visit much nicer; made us feel like family. We will definitely be going back and requests for Michelle will be our priority. Excellent job!

Best prime rib in Macomb County! They slow roast it to perfection, so tender and juicy. The french onion soup and onion blossom are just as delicious. Also love their homemade raspberry vinaigrette. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the state. Prices are very good too.
As usual, the food was good. The atmosphere could be lighter and brighter. You need more servers.

Disgusting place . Food horrible. Very expensive for the quality of food. Food with no taste . Even McDonald’s is a 100 times better. Inside looks like a funeral home. Dirty everything. Saganaki and chicken paper thin. Everything with portions super small. Save your money. Don’t eat here!!!
