Nostalgia Wood Fired Oven

We've been a few times, great place for a date or family meal. Appetizers are delicious and a great place to start. I like the 3 meatballs, huge portion, easily enough to share. We've had the pizza which is excellent, ravioli, chicken parm, fettuccini, rice balls, and meat sauce. Dinners come with soup or salad. The stracciatella is excellent and the side salads are big. Staff is always friendly and personable. Only drawback is parking can be tough behind the building, it's a small lot. Recommend getting reservations or carryout.

Great atmosphere great food

Walked in just 2 people and our toddler and over 10 minutes to be acknowledged another 5 to be seated. We sat down waited 30-45 minutes, no water, no waiter. Waiter brought us a menu and never came back. Others came and were seated and once we saw they had food, we left. No one ever came, brought water, took our orders, nothing! We came for a quick birthday lunch and ended up walking out after 1 hour total of being ignored. Sad because we frequently order carry out from this establishment.

Garbage

Randomly hit this spot after a day at Blake’s Orchard (10 minute drive). We didn’t have a reservation but the hostess was able to fit us in (definitely would recommend getting one). We liked the Halloween theme they had going on as well as the themed drinks. For dinner we went with the goat cheese balls which were phenomenal. We decided to build our own pizza as the lady and I couldn’t decide on toppings that worked for both of us….. anyways, we added the spicy sauce and that was delicious. It has the perfect kick to it. I can’t wait till I find myself back in this area again to come back and try other items on the menu. Service was great too!

I am truly impressed with this place. This is the mom and pop family business that serves delicious food. Staff was vibrant and happy to be there and take care of guest. They take pride with all the dishes that they are serving. Everything came out fresh and piping hot. The pizza is made in a woodfired brick oven with premium ingredients was absolutely delicious. We love the margarita pizza, the barbecue chicken pizza, and the white pizza. I’ve had some of the best dishes here in all of Michigan, such as the Arancini, Ricotta stuffed Chicken, and Tiramisu. I’ve ate Arancini every day for 1 week in Sicily and this was the best I’ve had in the state. I can’t say enough great things about this place. Family owned and operated, you could tell from the moment you walk in.

We had a sense that this is popular with locals. We were passing through. The portions are large enough to share or bring home leftovers that were also delicious warmed up! We enjoyed Mushroom Risotto, Tomato Bisque soup, Stracciatella soup, Spaghetti Meatballs & Lasagna. All were delicious!!! Lasagna takes time for chefs to prepare but SO worth the wait !!! They have specials that sounds AMAZING! They serve beer, liquor & have an extensive wine choices! The place is small, great atmosphere, seating is limited. We arrived about 4pm & were seated immediately. The place filled up at 5pm. We enjoyed our meal & atmosphere & will return to try pizza the next time we are in the area! A lot of happy diners here!

Excellent! Must try. Great service, great food!! We ordered appetizers and pizzas, both were awesome. Server was great, answered questions, made suggestions. One of my new favorite places. They do tons of carry-out as well. If you can’t make it in, or it’s too busy, go pick something up or have it delivered, you won’t regret it.

I got the $10 small pizza lunch special (until 2pm weekdays) and it was perfect as usual! I got a bonus, a very cute $5 bracelet that's giving me spooky vibes and Detroit Tigers vibes!! I'll be back soon!
