Food was good for what I ordered. Service was good i wouldn't say great. They were out of fountain drinks so you were forced to buy the bottles. But I'd say I'd visit again. I had the taco salad and it was a decent size and filled me up

I have been eating at Torete's for about a year, and I noticed a significant improvement a few months ago. The menu didn't change, but I think the recipes and/or cooks have improved considerably. The chips and salsa include a variety of dipping sauces at no extra charge. All are delicious. The beans and rice are also good (which I use as a benchmark for Mexican restaurants). Torete's is becoming my favorite local Mexican restaurant.

Good food

Food was super good! Authentic, delicious and fresh! The rice was great, the beans were good, very friendly employees! The Mexican Coke was delicious and fun. We got two taco combos (3 tacos with rice and beans) and spend $30-ish.

We were the only ones on this old winters night to venture into this little slice of Mexican heaven. We were immediately greeted, served within 10 minutes and the food was great. 4 types of salsa ! Just go check it out

THE BEST! We stumbled upon this place two years ago and nothing beats it. Prices are great, food is phenomenal, and the staff are always so nice. Try their queso and the variety of sauces - they’re homemade and delicious! The menu has something for everyone, and their meats are all cooked so well (best chicken I’ve had! Juicy and tender.) 10/10, always excited to go back!

Been down hill ever since covid
Still try every once and a while and even done doing that.

I've passed this place for the past 4 years and always wanted to give it a try. All I know is that I ordered a small guacamole for $6.99, not a container of tomatoes, whole pieces of onion not even chopped and cilantro that must've been pulled straight from the bush stems and all ...with a sliver or two of avocado not even mashed. Cheese not even melted on the other dish along with meat not fully cooked. I could've thrown this together myself in 5 minutes for less than 1/2 the price. Must be running something out the back door. Never again.

Unfortunately, the burrito I ordered wasn’t even warm, the chicken inside wasn’t warm and the cheese wasn’t even melted because the insides weren’t cooked. The chips were not homemade and appeared to be bought from a store… and were hard as a rock. Very disappointed.

was looking for authentic Mexican and the photos gave the impression of a true hole in the wall authentic vibe....food lacks flavor or taste. Chips and salsa mediocre if that. the trio of hot sauces were not good at all like flavor and look wise just pitiful. When the food came out it looked unimpressive and bland. We ordered tacos steak and shredded beef. We ordered the trio fajitas. It's edible food! But not memorable, not delicious, not good quality pretty cheap executions. Meat was pretty tough, lack of flavor over all. Staff were sweet! But I would skip if you're looking for a yummy Mexican meal truthfully. Came in at 5 on a Saturday and the dining room was bare. AMAZING MEXICAN COKE THOUGH (bottled)!!!!

Food very average! Ordered wet burrito with chicken. Size was huge but deceiving since mostly rice filled!
Very heavy on onions!
