The bar cuts you off for no reason. The hotel is sub par. They tried to remodel but all the crappy new furniture is stacked up in the back hallway alll warped and falling apart. Positive note is the garbage can they had on the first floor catching the plumbing leaks is gone. Leaking faucets. Leaking ceiling panels. Flies everywhere with no swatter offered. Just a “well, it’s that time of year” answer. 100% do not recommend

This hotel gives 2 shits about you as a customer. When I first walked in with my small dog on a leash not bothering anyone the man at the front desk greeted me with “ we don’t allow dogs in our lobby”. WOW, nice comment dude. “Are you checking in?” We booked a room for 3 nights and the website says they are pet friendly so we brought our small dog. Went to check in at 8:30 pm after driving 4 1/2 hours only to be turned away because they didn’t have a pet friendly room. This man was cold, rude and so disrespectful that I wouldn’t want to stay or spend money in this hotel ever again. We own land in Bruce Crossing and have recommended this property in the past, but NEVER again. People don’t deserve to be treated like this, so keep on driving past everyone!! You’ll be happy you did!!

Everything about this place was top-notch! The staff was beyond amazing, the food was fantastic, and the service was spot on. The rooms were spotless, and the pool and spa were absolutely massive. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

I have gone at different times of the day to try different meals and have ordered for pick up too . We went there for breakfast the last time. I had the country fried steak. It was the size of a large plate. I just loved the country gravy too. The eggs and potatoes were served on a different plate.Roberta does a great job in the kitchen and on the floor. There was only one waitress that morning and she was doing a heck of a job. There were three of us and the bill was under $40 with tip.

Hotel room was not clean, wife saw doritos on the floor, we did not have any doritos, overall room floor was dirty, dead bugs in the corners. No refrigerator or microwave in room. Had to pay $10 to get in room frigerator. Microwave was in the lobby. Shower was cold. No breakfast except at restaurant that did not open until 8am. 8 am REALLY, wow. For the price, about $130 I really expected more. We did eat at the restaurant and had the special, lasagna, it was ok and a large portion. The salad bar was outstanding and probably the best part of the stay.
My wife liked the fish fry, I did not like my burger, prices were a bit above average, we had poor service. But we gambled $5 and won $15 on a slot machine so basically had $10 off our lunch.

We had the fish fry, which we have had many times since the restaurant reopened. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable. Cole slaw wasn't good, but the fish and fries were great! Service was excellent.
