Lydia was the best. Exactly the way a dive bartender should be. All the gold stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Food from the restaurant was awesome and we had a blast talking with wild bill. He must be a regular. Gave us all the tips and tricks about where to stop for food and things we forgot.We stopped at two other restaurants on the way to Lake Superior and they were closed. Third times a charm. Lucky us!!!

Funny how i clicked I do NOT recommend but you have the site AUTOMATICALLY RECOMMEND your business. That is very deceiving.
I have never had a restaurant not move tables to accommodate for their customers, remind you I am paying YOU for service. We would of even moved them back to how they were before when we were done. I worked in a few different restaurants and food service and never would you say “No. We cant move tables” ESPECIALLY not in a nasty tone the way the lady had said it and walked away without even an explanation as to why. We would accommodate to our customers to make it work, this is absolutely not customer service oriented at all. Your lose of $40-$50 profit tho😝

Stopped in, place full except for 2 small two seater tables left. Asked if we could slide them together, the one lady looked at another and the other says “no we are not allowed to put tables together” rudely…

They just lost about $40+ in sales and we will be telling people not to patronize as we are snowmobilers!

We'd eaten here last year so stopped the other day while in the area again. Good basic down-home cooking, nothing fancy but good quality, well prepared, with ample portions at a good price. The steak I had with my eggs this time was VERY nicely seasoned, super flavorful and moist, cooked exactly as requested. I was a bit miffed that our waitress disappeared halfway through the meal; we had to go up to the cashier to request our check. We could see her working on something prep in the kitchen, so I suppose its the common case of a restaurant having a hard time with getting enough employees. Not a good way to do things. That said, I have no qualms about recommending the food here; very satisfying!

When my family and I walked in someone laughed at us, then the barkeep gave us nice directions. Road house tavern does not have food, and the people in the bar were very rude, not to the fault of the owners/workers. Do not go to the tavern if you want food, and the grill looked like it was closed, which is different of what this website says.

Unassuming diner in Nordines Plaza with reasonable prices and EXCELLENT food. Convenient stop if you are hungry..next to the supermarket and gas station. Soup was soooo good and burger tasted fresh. Wait staff efficient. Will definitely return.

Had to stop due to heavy rain and needed breakfast. Was happy with my breakfast, tasty and hot and lots of warm coffee even to go. The service ice was friendly and good. Looked popular even with carry out food. Distanced tables and visible cleaning supplies.
