My mother has Alzheimer's and loves McDonald's Chicken Nuggets, so my father and I always hit up random McDonald's when we are on the road. Needless to say, this McDonald's is by FAR the best McDonald's in the state. Crushes any establishment in Kalamazoo/GR areas for sure. Sometimes they'll make you wait a minute or two by pulling up, but would you rather always have FRESH food or food that sat under a heat lamp? I'm more of a fresh food kind...
The fries were lukewarm at best and definitely had been sitting under the warmer too long. My McDouble meat was either overcooked or it had been sitting in the cabinet for a long time because it was beyond dry. It was genuinely un-appetizing. Normally I have pretty good experiences at other McDonald’s so this was disappointing.
I'm afraid you admit that I go to McDonald's WAY too much!! That being said, I have a lot of experience at many different McDonald's locations. This one may not be the best ever, but it's definitely one of the good ones! And lucky me it's 5 minutes from home. Every time I have to go to a different one I'm always disappointed.
