I like the dimly lit inviting environment. The atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxing.we enjoyed the 2 three course meals for 95$. What a great deal for such wonderful enjoyable food. The wine is great too.

Second time visiting here, came for my birthday on a Sunday, had the seafood risotto which I had before and it was so good, this time all of our food was cold, risotto had no flavor and was cold and crunchy, she gave me a new bowl of risotto which I brought home to season it, seafood was cold and rubbery, soup was cold, ctabcake was tasty but also cold, won't be back

This is our 2nd time at Shkode Steak House. This visit was for our 30th Anniversary and the entire experience was amazing. The bread, wedge salad, filet/shrimp, and chocolate cake was exceptional!! The service throughout the visit was EXCELLENT. 9/25 5:00PM Reservation! My new favorite restaurant.

We split a ribeye and lobster dinner. We both got salads. Wedge and Caesar-excellent. The bread bowl they brought was the weirdest textured bread ever. Almost like a gluten free flour. Lobster was not terrible. Steal had great flavor. This was our first time here.

The food came out a little salty at first, but they were more than happy to remake it. The meat was cooked medium as ordered (perfect). The atmosphere is beautiful, can't hear the noise outside into the Casino. Don't know how that was accomplished but they did it; We sat by the fire and entire experience was amazing. The fries were absolutely on another level. must try ? Nora our waitress was great, and makes an absolutely smooth tasting Smokey old-fashioned Definitely going again.

We've been going to Skode since it opened. The menu used to change periodically but now the menu has been stagnant for quite some time. There are not many good options other than steak. Therefore we ordered steak last night which was extremely salty to the point we had to cut off the top which was covered in salt. I'm a salt fan but it was too much for me. We were told a new menu was coming in August and even met the new Chef but now we are told the new menu is on hold. Very disappointing.

Walked in at 10:45 pm and they closed at 11. They were kind enough to seat the 3 of us. Not only was it one of the best meals I have ever had, the service was phenomenal! I highly suggest you visit this place. It is worth every penny.

I am very impressed with the overall value of the restaurant. It is a high end steak but for a reasonable price. The menu is excellent and everything we ate was great. The burger is kinda weird. Don't recommend but otherwise fantastic.

Considering it is inside a casino that still has remnants of indoor smoking the air quality and environment for the steakhouse is super clean. The only downside with the location is not having a separate restrooms from the casino itself, but not enough of a problem to affect the overall experience. Was not a cheap dinner but well worth it for the area.

Excellent experience! I read some of the other reviews and was a bit apprehensive, but decided to try it out and see what kind of experience I would have. Glad that we did! We were hoping to grab a Fig based cocktail, which sadly the waitress let us know they were out of (seasonal and they would be changing the menus soon, so had not restocked and replenished) so we got another spiced cocktail that was wonderfully balanced, but not flavors that my partner enjoyed. The waitress was fully willing to replace it without any issues and was so accommodating!! We got the 8oz filet, which came with grilled broccoli and a carrot souffle that was wonderful! The filet itself was perhaps not the greatest cut of all time, but it was seared and cooked fantastically, and was very well seasoned. I had the mixed seafood risotto which came with 2 smallish scallops, 3 large shrimp and half a lobster tail- all of which was cooked and seasoned very well. We came for my partner's birthday, and the restaurant comped our dessert (an extremely well executed vanilla creme brulee). All in all, fantastic service (the waitress was great, the GM came by to ask about the meal, even the folks clearing our tables checked in on us to see how we were doing), good food and drink, lovely ambiance. Will definitely come again!

I come to gun lake casino every so often, their food selections is crazy good. From fine dining, casual eatery and even buffet and bars. It's a huge selection for everyone's tastes. Shkode is no different in this manner, plenty of great food and drinks to choose from.

This is our second time at Shkode, and it's been excellent both times. Food and service on par with Vegas restaurants. I know some people have had poor experiences, but that has absolutely NOT been our case. We tried both dinner specials last night, and both were fantastic. The Firecracker Shrimp app is spicy and herbaceous. I didn't like the first cocktail I was served, which was my own fault in ordering, but the bartender whipped me up a “Funky 75”, and it's easily one of the better cocktails I've ever had. We've sat at the bar and at a fireplace table and have had impeccable service both times. Will definitely be back.
