The new ownership is fantastic! The staff is attentive and pleasant. The food is always delicious and comes out quickly. The menu is constantly evolving. Most importantly, the beer selection is amazing. Regardless of what style you drink, there are always options to please. I can't recommend this place enough.

I was a patron of open road under old ownership but now seeing how new ownership treats the community and other businesses in the area I will never go back.
The new owner has been nothing but rude to the people in Wayland. The food is overpriced, the beer is okay. Won’t be going back. Was told to try them. Won’t be going back.

9-22-23, four of us stopped in for dinner and the food was excellent. The Cole slaw was made on site and the burgers were very tasty with a bit of zing! Not too hot with the peppers, but just enough to let you know, they are on the burger. The IPA Goo Goo Muck was cold so I had to order a second glass! ?? As with most places post Covid, the service was slow, but we were not in a rush. $64 We make another stop in the near future! ??
