I got a pick up order for a Friday night fish fry. It was ready in 10 minutes and the girl at the bar was very friendly. I got the Walleye. I'm not sure how they prepared it exactly but it wasn't like most places where they make the coating too thick and deep fry it too long. It was lightly breaded and excellent. French fries were good too. Seemed like a nice place to have a pint after work. I'd also like to go back, try something off the menu and have a sit-down dinner there.

Took 45 minutes just to get burned fried pickles. The after an hour or so we got our food, which was not very good. The waitress took $15 off the bill without me even asking so that was nice. Oh and the cook came out and did Jell-O shots with a group of people. Do not recommend unless you just want a drink.

Finally made it to Mitchell's, bummed it took me so long to get there. Food was fantastic and the people were extremely friendly too! Can't wait to go back, the fish and chips were great!

Great small-town pub. The wait staff was friendly and provided good service. Our party of 3 all had burgers and they were great! Cool pub vibe inside and out. Motorcycle friendly street parking. I'll be back. Great place for a destination lunch motorcycle ride.

Overall, it was an ok experience. It was my last day on vacation, and I took my family out to dinner. We searched online and decided on Mitchell's. Service was very slow and there wasnt many people, it appeared the cook wasn't happy about our party and the waitress even made a comment when she took our drink order. I thought that was a bit unprofessional. Dinner took so long that my daughter walked out with the 2 kids before dinner even ended. I won't go back. The food was good, but I did have a burger and asked for extra jalapenos, and I think the whole jar was put on my burger. I like it very hot but I wanna taste my burger too. If you have a party of 4 or less you will be fine, but don't choose this place if you have kids or a family with you.Kid-friendliness: Didn't appear kid friendly.
Nice facility, always clean. Staff is friendly and time efficient. The take out sweet potato fries are chronically soggy, I've given up on them. The menu certainly has room for improvement. It would be nice to see more variety and healthier options. An average Midwest Pub overall.Update: the sweet potato fries have improved! The spicy Mayo is delicious. Their chicken tendies have a great crunchy breading.

I ordered carryout, it was not a great experience. They told me 20-25 minutes, it ended up being at least 45 minutes. I tried to make the best of it and ordered a beer while I waited. But then watched a party that arrived at the same time as me for dine in have their food come out, so that was kind of annoying.. Finally I got the food and noticed that the loaded nachos had black olives when I asked for no black olives.. They offered to remake them, but I'd already been there so long and didn't want the other food to get cold, so I decided to just pick them off. The boom-boom shrimp is popcorn shrimp with a little sauce, which is fine, but then say that on the menu. Plus it was missing the blue cheese dressing. Also the online menu says $10, but I was charged $13. The kids chicken tenders were good. White meat chicken, no problems there. The nachos were huge, but I should have let them remake them, because they were ice cold and soggy when I got home. The queso had solidified. It was pretty obvious they made them first and they sat there a good while until they got around to the other food which was still hot when I got home. Overall the food was decent. It's really a shame that some really simple things turned what could have been a good experience into a frustrating and disappointing one. Not sure if I'll be back, I like to support the local places, but also have expectations for repeat business.

We’ve given this place a couple of tries, and the food isn’t great. I’m disappointed to leave a review like this, but I just picked up burnt frozen pizza and soggy chicken strips and fries…again
