We went to Bistro le Bliss for a party and the food was fantastic. The West Bloomfield onion soup was so good as well as the smelt. I couldn’t get enough. We then had the tomahawk steak and salmon and they were cooked to perfection. The chef is on point and to see what comes out of the kitchen with just him in there is nothing less than amazing. The rest of the staff was friendly warm and I am looking forward to my next meal there.

We had an excellent time at our first visit to the bistro. The food and service were both great. Learning that the chef makes everything himself was a delight. We will definitely be back!

This restaurant is a hidden gem. The atmosphere is calm and the service is quick and attentive . We arrived at 5:10 for an early dinner. The seasoned rolls were hot and yummy served with real butter. We ordered the watermelon and burrata appetizer - perfect for 2 people. The beef stroganoff was rich and delicious- they did not skimp on the beef or fresh mushrooms. The bolognese was traditional, unlike heavy tomato sauces. We had the crème brûlée too - it is a generous serving!

We picked this restaurant for our monthly book club meet up and discussion. Our waitress was friendly, personable and a joy to talk to. Our food was brought out quickly and was just the right temperature. I tried the Salmon La Blanche. The salmon was cooked to perfection with a cream sauce. We lost track of time chatting about our awesome book this month. The staff was not pushy when we approached closing. The waitress offered us dessert while we chatted. We are planning on coming back for dessert in the next couple months.

If you're looking for a fine dining experience this is not it, if you're looking for a casual dining experience this might be it. Overall the food was generous in portion adequate and taste, lacking in variety.
I always judge a "French" restaurant on the duck, and have for about 2 decades now. I ordered medium rare, came out medium. Not sure how I feel about sweet potatoes as a match for duck, I mean, I've certainly seen it, but is it right...not sure it's what I would choose in Bordeaux. (To be fair, I'm French and never had a sweet potato until I moved here).
Service...well they weren't bad. We got what we wanted when we wanted it, but let's be 100 here. Fine dining servers are ghosts, and diner waitresses are super friendly, these are exactly in between, I guess how you would expect. For the cost of the meal IDK, I guess I would expect a more involved uniform that had all black or something, even minimal.
I'll leave it at that. I can't complain at all, but I'd love to rave, and this place has the workings of a place to rave about, just a little more attention to detail.

Small footprint but good food and service. The prices show that. From the fish to dinner salad to stroganoff, every one loved their choices and took some home. My beef stroganoff is up there Webers in Ann Arbor which I use for the best you can find. Save room for dessert, the special cakes and strudel both are delicious. My stroganoff reheated well, but it could have more sauce on it. I should be back in the fall with my Meetup group.

My husband and I went last night and purchased the escargot, scallops, salmon, ragu pasta and risotto ? everything was amazing ? I would have posted the other meals we got but we ate them too fast ?. Great food, customer service and atmosphere. If you are looking for amazing food make sure to stop by. I guarantee you will be back for more. I almost forgot make sure to make a reservation it fills up quick. Luckily they were able to squeeze us in which I appreciated very much ❤️
