Don Juan Mexican restaurant

I asked for a cocktail not on the menu and the employees went out of their way to make it for me they were excellent and it was the greatest mai tai I’ve had yet and the mojarra was the most spectacular presentation I mean take a look at these photos! love the service I receive here every time could not thank the staff at Don Juan enough!

Don Juan is a decent Mexican restaurant with very good service. As vegetarians, there's a section of the menu for easy picks, but most dishes seem to be customizable. The salsa is flavored well, but the spicy one is actually very spicy! It was interesting that the cheese enchiladas had onions in them and maybe some queso as well. The burrito came covered in sauce which isn't what I was expecting, but it was still pretty good. The beans are vegetarian here.

I have to say I was not impressed by this establishment. Every single bite, from the salsa to the chimichanga, was bland. The food is cooked, but there is hardly any flavor to it. What is considered salsa here would not cut it in most Mexican restaurants around the US. The wait staff seemed reluctant to provide refills or ask if I wanted the check. It’s not for me.

We love it here! We go at least once a month after church on Sunday! The food is great and the service is wonderful! Boys always get the burritos, hubby is with a pork dish, and I'm with chicken fajita. All is great!!

I have been to many Mexican Restaurants across the country, and I can fairly judge the service and quality of the food. I asked for water with little ice and some lemon, but the lady brings the water with 3/4th of the cup filled with ice and no lemon. The food was just average!! While we were dining not even a single time our server attended us. The Salsa cups were so small that hardly we could eat any chips with salsa. So, to get some extra salsa, we had to wait for few minutes to find the server. No one cared to ask us anything while we were there. Even to get the check, we have to waive her to come to us.

It was a bit cold inside the restaurant. But after asking to adjust temperatures, they did, and all was well and worth it.

Vegetarian options: Wife's Vegan, so she created dishes from menus.

Do not order delivery. We were missing one of the burrito dishes and the manager said it was in the bag. Then wanted us to come pick up the burrito that was missing. The food was moderate in temp and salad was missing dressing. Very disappointing after spending $60. Steak fajitas very grisly.
