We sat at the high tops next to the bar. Fantastic service from the bartender. Our food come out quickly and hot. Delicious meals. Great margaritas too.
We will be back.

Closed on Saturday when posted open on site. They need to update their times for business. Drove 40 min to find "closed" on their door. Went to another another Mexican restaurant.
Have not dined at El Nibble Nook in three decades. First time Bloomfield location. Restaurant clean and attractive. Server welcoming and attentive. Excellent Mexican cuisine. Definitely return soon. Thank you…

Embarrassingly bad Mexican food
The place is nice. Their history is that they used to be a diner and closed for winter when Betty and Jack travelled to Mexico to escape the cold weather.
The service was okay. There seemed to be some difference among the wait staff. It looked like a manager was either dressing down a worker or providing instructions. That conversation was happening when we arrived and continuing when we left.
The food was priced rather high. The plates were hot but it seemed like the food was warmed over. Cheese was congealed. Spice was light.
Two of my dinner partners suffered indigestion later.
It seems it is all about speed.
There were two inebriated people at the bar. The bartender was asking them if they planned on paying the bar bill. One of the two said, "Oh, we always pay the bill.", as they asked for more drinks.
What a drag

Curtis was our server last night. His recommendation for the seafood burrito was excellent. Nice people working at the bar with a very friendly staff. Ask for Curtis and you will have a great time and meal.

What a great find this place was! Our server, Anna, promptly brought us fresh chips and salsa and took our drink order. I noticed right away that the salsa surprisingly did not have cilantro (yes, I love Mexican food, but, I'm one of those "cilantro tastes like soap" people). Anna told me the mild salsa has cilantro and the medium does not, so they can suit your preferences. I ordered the spinach quesadilla and my husband ordered the pollo supreme. Both were wonderful. You can really tell everything is freshly made. Great food, great service, great ambience, and oh, by the way, this place looks super clean.
