Found out about this restaurant through Groupon, had dinner there today. Ate the best borsht I've ever had, devoured the lamb chops and pounded them potatoes (although I'd go with the chicken next time - portion size was a little larger), and the dessert... That napoleon thing is excellent. I loved the food. I don't know how the guy below me could complain about the serving size of the groupon deal - you get a borscht, a salad, perogies, an entree, and a desert - it' was a 5 course meal! :D :PMy service was excellent although the waiter was Russian and I remember a time where I had to ask him to repeat something. This isn't really a problem at all to me - I'd rather have Russian staff at a Russian restaurant that really knows the food and can answer questions. We also talked to the manager and he told us about coming to America, working, and then finally creating his dream - this restaurant.I love this place, 5/5, will be coming here again for my birthday. Only qualm is that they are only open Fri, Sat, and Sun so I can't get a lunch portion there during the week :\

The best place for parties

Two sides of the building. Each just cosy enough. Otherwise, fantastic food and service!

It felt like we caught them off guard even though we had a reservation at 7pm on a Friday. There was one waiter who was very nice and tried very hard. The owner or manager, who was wearing sweat pants and a T-shirt, got up and helped. I think he might have cooked the food too. We were there a couple yrs ago and it was much different. We'll give them another try.

Avoid this place

We went here for my Ukrainian-born father's birthday. The salmon my dad and I ordered was absolutely perfect. Only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because of limited hours. At this time their dining room is only open Friday after 5pm. However, we were the only guests here at the time, which made me sad because I'd hate to hear this place had to close down. They definitely know how to prepare food.

Was an invited guest to a private event. In my fifty years & world wide travel, this place is the worst place on the planet. DO NOT EAT HERE !!!!!!!!

Great place to celebrate your grandpa's 90-th birthday! We had so much fun! Food was amazing!
