“First time at this restaurant and highly recommend. Spacious, very clean spaces with booths and tables as well as seating at the bar. The complementary bread came warm and was soooo good. Our waiter was amazing, the recommended dry red wine was spot on. My mousaka was outstanding….. should have eaten only 1/2 but could not stop. We will be coming back!“

“The Greek Isles Grille is hands down "THE BEST" family restaurant in West Bloomfield. Their “NEW MENU” has many excellent food items to choose from. The food is always very fresh and the flavors are always savory! The interior and exterior of the restaurant is extremely clean and the staff wears masks and gloves to protect their customers. There is hand sanitizer for your use throughout the restaurant as well. Their staff is always extremely appreciative, helpful and polite. “I’ve been here several times. The last time was in April 2025. We ordered a glass of tomato juice and a white Russian from the waiter in the comedy club. He returned quite a while later, to tell us he did not have either of those things. Now, when we ate at the restaurant upstairs before the show, I confirmed with the bartender that he indeed had plain tomato juice available. They also had the ingredients, I’m sure, for a white Russian in the upstairs bar. Can you imagine how much business you’re missing just because a waiter didn’t want to go upstairs and get two common drinks? Just a thought.“

“This place is a landmark if you ask me. It's inside the Penobscot Building to start, which is worth a 10 minute walk through. l digress. From the amazing host and waitstaff to the owner who is regularly in house and working hard, to the phenomenal food they serve it's one of the best places to eat in an ocean of good restaurants. Watch for daily specials like Fish and Chips and the Greek Gyro. Gyros are why I go, but the patstitso, kebobs, fish, salads, and so much more are on point! If you like fast service for carry out this place is perfect. Parking can be tricky so I hit a spot on Fort Street a block or so away, or one of the lots. Go today!!!“

“Dined-in, excellent food at this small restaurant with a few high tables. Split the chicken shawarma plate with veggies with my husband, also ordered hommus and meat grape leaves. Everything was great, fresh and evidently made with skill and love. My fave veg was the pickled cabbage. The grape leaves stuffing wasn't my the best ever, but the leaves themselves certainly were. The texture and size were amazing. My husband really liked the sauce they put on the grape leaves, for him, these were the best tasting he's had. Plenty of pita bread to scoop up the hommus. Right temperatures for all the food. A family owns, cooks and staffs the place and they made us feel welcomed and treated us royally. Delicious date filled cookies to go was a winning touch for a superb meal. Wish I lived closer!“

“Had carry out for the first time since the new ownership. Sadly, a little disappointed. I ordered the the Zip Sauce Alfredo with chicken .It was really good! However, it didn't have much chicken in it at all the the garlic bread that it came with was soggy. My wife got the "Double Fajitas" with steak and chicken. The steak was pretty bland and there was barely enough meat for 3 small fajitas. My oldest daughter got the Enchilada Dinner and really enjoyed it. Great flavor! My Youngest Daughter got pancakes and bacon. Unfortunately, they bacon was a bit undercooked and rubbery and they forgot the syrup. We love to support local business and We have gone to the restaurant for years and have always enjoyed the food and service. So I am hoping this is just some of the early "bumps and bruises".“

“Every dish I’ve had at the Pines has been delicious as well as generous servings. However, you must try their French Fries. I have never in years of eating fries from multiple restaurants have I tasted anything as delicious as the Pines French fries.“

“So I used to get lunch from here back in the early 90s when I worked next door at Atlas Food Land, I've been back a few times over the years, and this time, I brought my daughter and her reaction to the place was asking me if we could start going here more frequently, the bacon cheeseburger is my favorite, but you definitely can't go wrong ordering the breakfast.“

“I live nearby so I have been to this restaurant many times; for both dine in and carry out. The other day i had a situation where my carry out order was not up to par, and they went above and beyond to make it right with me. Long story short, there was a problem with the order, then a communication breakdown, but the owner went above and beyond to rectify the situation. And everyone involved apologized. These days good customer service is hard to find. I received excellent service from Koney Island Inn this week. Thank you.“

“They are a cool group. My daughter worked there 30 years ago and had a great time. When she is in town, she picks up their Greek salad dressing -about 8 bottles and several pasta salads. I pick up once in a while their top notch Greek salad.“

“What a great place to come eat, good deals and great family atmosphere. My cup of coffee was never empty. I had the chicken gyro ,the chicken was tender and the meal was over all delicious and affordable. It was near closing time and I never felt like I was being kicked out. The server was a young brunette with a big smile and amazing customer service i can't remember her name but I'll definitely be back and update the review to make sure she gets credit for her hard work.“

“Visited this Leo’s location unexpectedly while driving up to the lake with the family. I’ll start off by saying it’s one of the cleanest restaurants I’ve been to. The service was exceptional, staff was very pleasant, pricing was reasonable, and food was amazing! Would highly recommend stopping by. Enjoyed everything on the menu - their Michigan salad is a favorite for sure.“

“Great family-friendly diner. We started going there a month or so ago, and every time we are in the area, we are going. Sundays are nice. Big football fans, and they always have the games playing. Food is absolutely phenomenal. I go there and I won't leave without my hashbrowns. A place where you know you're gonna leave a tip because you know you're gonna enjoy every second of your time there, and even more every bite. And big shout out to the young lady who normally waits on us. I'll get her name in an update. She's always very nice, quick, gives us our time, but still always makes sure we have what we need without making us feel rushed.“

“I have been to several different Leo’s in SE Michigan food is pretty consistent. great Fish and chips, Greek Salad with grilled chicken, Coneys are good. Staff and service varies, but, food is always good.

Kid-friendliness: They are set up for kids and my kids always liked the food there.“
