Well, I've been here 3 times as I wanted to support a local establishment. And in the 5 years since I've lived in Commerce. This location has been 4 different bars. The first time I came I was with my gf and daughter. First trip was very underwhelming, Irish nachos, not real Irish nachos, not really nachos actually. They were fries with beef stew poured on top. Real Irish nachos are homemade chips with a cheese sauce poured over top with chives and bacon. The monte cristo I was excited for, but was let down very little flavor. My GF got the salmon which lacked must taste and she did not finish. My daughter ordered a salad (she said it was ok, but nothing special). She also ordered hot chocolate and it was obviously just a hot chocolate packet dumped in hot water. And it was very watery, wouldn't have been that bad but they charged like $3 for it. I couldn't get my girls to go back again after this visit. I however came back, once just for drinks. The house old fashioned I thought was terrible. But the bartender made a fantastic proper one. I came back a third time and I had the scotch eggs as an app, which were so so. The Irish dip I thought was good, and you could get it with gluten free bread. But for all the things I tried to only have one dish that I liked. Not the best average. I felt like this place fell into a common mistake of putting too much on the menu, to try and have a lot of options. Unfortunately it's better to have only a few items that are really good. Vs having 100 items, 80 of which are average or bad. All you're doing is increasing the chance that a first time guest has a bad meal and may not return. I also found it odd that they weren't open on New Year's Eve. There are not that many bars in this area that are open into New Year's Day. If you're a new place trying to gain a customer base. I would think you would want to try and differentiate yourself from other establishments. We tried to come here on NYE but instead went to Library Pub since it was closed. It looks like Jameson's has now joined Social House, Crown Bar, and Roosevelt's as the next restaurant to fail at this location. There was a sign that said closed temporarily, but I drove by this week and there is now a for sale sign in the window. Hopefully the next establishment can make it, sad.

Went there Tuesday (February 25, 2020) and found a sign on the door saying they’ll were closed because of the owner’s health. I now have 5 worthless Groupon coupons. I did love the food, but I am very disappointed they are closed. I hope the owner recovers.

We made a reservation in advance, via open table. We were 20 minutes early, but were seated immediately. Our table was in close proximity to the door - REALLY appreciated that the hostess 'tested' if there might be a cold draft - and there was not. Great extra effort on her part. --- Waitress was pleasant. Bar service was a bit slow, but waitress did apologize and offered to place our dinner order. -- Happy to be offered a pitcher of water for the table - again good waitress service - she noticed our glasses were nearly empty fairly quickly. -- Atmosphere: the space is very open - good for the pub feel. but kind of noisy. Not a problem for us. We were glad we were on the far side of the bar = not too close to the entertainer. --- Entertainer was good! Guy w. a guitar singing recent top 40 and classic hits. --LIKED the portions. REALLY liked the taste of the food. -- Mixed drinks were reasonably priced at about $7

Not sure how this place has so many good reviews... food was very bad. The eggplant appetizer was hard and dry. The Italian-German beef pasta entree had about 3 pieces of beef in it and the rest was a gross thick fatty gravy with some gnocchi. The southwest chicken wrap tasted so bland and looked nothing like the picture in the menu. In the menu it was an orange colored wrap (maybe a tomato wrap) it came out as a wheat wrap. The fries were dry and flavorless. Worst of all was the mushroom risotto... it was simply a dish of rice with mushrooms that tasted like it was frozen and defrosted in the microwave. Needless to say we will not be back.

I'm giving this place 1 star. The meal was not good. It's more of just a place for drinks. The person working the bar was great I didn't have have any problems with her. The salmon I ordered was very over cooked. The manger really didn't seem to care. Not sure this guy cares about customer service. I will not go be going back there.

I am not a fan and I will probably not return. I had a $20 Gift Card to Jamieson's Tavern and decided to go at lunch time during the week. When I arrived there were a few people sitting at the bar, maybe 3 or 4 other tables sitting around the restaurant. Our party was greeted and sat right away. The waitress who was also the bartender was really nice, no issues with her. She was fast and attending to everyone in the restaurant. The food was lacking everything. I ordered the white fish, with a veggie, my son ordered kids chicken fingers, and we also ordered a sandwich & appetizer for the table. My fish tasted like it was soaked in butter and grease, with a fish taste that shouldn't have been. Veggies were supposed to be steamed but seemed to be mushy and not freshly steamed. Kids chicken tenders were fine for my son. The sandwich that others ordered said it was okay, but not anything to brag about & their fries were just overly fried bra French fries. I assumed with the restaurant not being busy the food would be coming out fresh and hot, wrong. I was bummed because I enjoy checking out new spots in different areas but at least I had a gift card. Service was good, food was not.

If you haven't tried it here yet, you need to! The menu has such a variety and is truly unique, while also offering basic options for the picky eaters. The burgers are my personal favorite, including the vegetarian impossible burger. The atmosphere is welcoming and all of the staff members were very friendly. Great options for great prices.

The food was not good. The worst chicken waffle ever. Chicken was dry. Dark inside and bad food. Went there for a dinner and everyone else must know only one other couple there at 6pm for dinner

I'm rating this place only two stars for a few reasons. One being they charge us FOR ICE $2! The food was just ok. Bread was cheap and garlic was powdered instead of using buttered garlic spread. The decor was pretty outdated and the ambience was lacking a lot. Their lighting in there is horrible. They should invest in better bar atmosphere if their bar is going to be the center of their restaurant. The service was great, no complain there. Definitely will not return to a place that charges you for regular ice.
