Kitchen Hanzo offers some of the most authentic Japanese cuisine in the area. The restaurant has recently reopened, but the food may not be as exceptional as it was before. The new, thicker version of the pancake is doughier than the okonomiyaki it replaced, while the sliced beef was superb but the smelt did not taste fresh. The service is warm and attentive, and the wine and sake pricing is quite high compared to the food menu. Despite these minor issues, Kitchen Hanzo still provides delicious izakaya food, exceptional service, and a variety of favorite cold sake and beers on tap.
