La Marsa West Bloomfield

I thought this was the same owner as the Farmington la Marsa on grand River… it’s not.

This was NOT good. The falafel was super lemony tasted so weird.

I like across the street but plan to drive to the grand River one every time .

We order takeout from La Marsa almost every week, and it never disappoints. Their food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. I usually go for one of their shawarmas—chicken, meat, or kafta—paired with their smooth, tahini-forward hummus and the best baba ghannooj in town. Their Greek salad is always crisp and refreshing, and the warm, fluffy pitas straight from their open fire oven are absolutely addictive. La Marsa has become our go-to for Mediterranean takeout—delicious, dependable, and just hits the spot every time.

Must dine in here!! The food was excellent, it came out hot and within just a few minutes after ordering. My family and I got the debone chicken and it was very juicy and flavorful. The bread and garlic were hot and fresh which made the experience even better. The staff were also so nice and helpful with getting to understand the menu. Everyone should check this place out I can’t rave enough about how good it was!

We've often enjoyed La Marsa in Brighton, so thought we'd take out dinner from their West Bloomfield location when we were visiting a friend in that area. Big disappointment! While the hummus and baba ghannoush were very good, things went downhill from there; the meat and chicken in the shawarma combo plate were totally overcooked and dried out, as was the lamb kafta, while the lamb pies were soggy, and the grilled vegetables cold and tasteless. Plus they left out the two rice puddings we'd ordered, substituting a few unrequested soggy pastries. All in all, totally disappointing.

Welcomed and seated immediately upon entering. Restaurant clean, attractive and comfortable. Our server “Rita” hospitable and exceptional. Excellent Mediterranean cuisine served hot and fresh. Delicious lentil soup, garden salad, hommus, baba ghannooj, pita bread and deboned lemon oregano chicken. Fantastic aroma and taste of grilled chicken. Super fabulous fresh salad. Our first dining experience, memorable and satisfying. Lady friends and I shall return soon. Thank you…

Went for lunch. Ambiance and food were good, but the service was a little slow, although there weren't too many people.

I've been to Lamarsa literally hundreds of times but whenever I go to this specific location I'm always disappointed. Although the food is good the chicken breasts are literally a third of the size of actual chicken breasts, I've spent a lot of money and end up with a third of the food I've paid for. Falafel sandwich was the circumference of a cigar...seems they're making everything smaller and raising prices

Food good even though 2 orders were wrong. Nicely decorated restaurant. Waiter seemed new. Prices good. Pita bread wasn't as light and fluffy as the Waterford restaurant. Mens bathroom needed cleaned.

I had my wedding rehearsal dinner here two years ago, and it was a wonderful and memorable experience. The food was delicious and affordable, and the staff treated us so well. This was the perfect place for our special occasion!

This is absolutely my favorite place to get Mediterranean food! Their event space was perfect for our wedding rehearsal dinner of about 30 people, and everyone absolutely loved the food and atmosphere. Thank you La Marsa team for hosting us and delivering a wonderful dinner.

The owner helped me to plan a beautiful rehearsal dinner for my sons wedding. The room was clean & accommodating, food was delicious & fresh. Our waitress "Rita" was friendly and had great control over the timing of our dinner. All and all, if there were more than 5 stars, I would pick 10! We will definitely go back every time we are in the neighborhood. Thank you
