Library Sports Pub & Grill

It was a great experience, I had the rueben and a side salad. Didn't realize the side salad would be so decked out with bacon and such. A nice surprise

This review was after our 2nd visit.
We were seated promptly, they were not busy at all. But after over 5 minutes, no one stopped by to take our drinks or acknowledge we were there. We waited a few more minutes but still no one, so we moved to the bar. The bartender took our drink order and it went smoothly as far as service. We ordered sliders and a chicken quesadilla. Both dishes were on a ice cold metal tray, so the burgers were cold and super dry. The quesadilla was decent but also on the cold side. (Hot food goes on a hot plate, cold food goes on a cold plate.... kitchen 101)
Between the annoyingly loud speakers blasting 1 game with no sound on the 7 other games, cold and bland food, poor service I don't think we will return.
Side note, on our way out the gentleman next to us ordered chicken wings. The amount of steam blasting off them was 1000% clear they used a MICROWAVE to heat them!!!!! ??
Any restaurant that uses a microwave for anything is a joke.

Ordered the southwest chicken sandwich. There’s wasn’t much bbq on chicken breast. I mainly thought the breast was subpar. Tasted either precooked and heated up or it was boiled and then placed on grill for some finishing off. Wasn’t cooked to order. Tots were alright. Bacon was tough. Good beer selection and trivia night was a plus.

Based on what it is, it's fine. Typical bar type restaurant. Server was good. Food was fine. Cocktail menu is primitive. Kind of loud.

My goodness they treated me poorly for no reason. The bartender and server didn't like the cut of my jib or something. I'm not sure. I asked a couple simple questions and they talked to me with disdain and disgust. Unwarranted and unappreciated. Kinda used to it though lol.

The place sucked! The server was like 16, low energy. We tried to get a news channel on ONE TV out of 10-12 that no one was watching and the manager gave us a huge attitude that no one wanted to watch politics!!! It's a sports bar ( Trump land I guess)
It was so cold we couldn't stand it. The French onion soup was so salty I had to pour water in it!!! When we left, we sat outside at a table for a few minutes and we're asked to leave by messenger from manager, we were taking up usable space for the server!!! After we just spent $50. NEVER would go back here!

I don’t normally order a steak from a sports pub but this time did not disappoint. I ordered medium rare and they nailed it! Service and atmosphere were awesome as well. Definitely recommend this place.

We absolutely love the Library Pub and have been visiting this location for close to 20 years

They used to have a second location down in Novi, which was always much quieter than this one, but sadly they closed

This one on Haggerty Road though pretty crowded especially when there’s a game

It’s also a great place to pop in for a late night drink. The bar is always active and crowded with people, but there’s still plenty of places to sit. And one of the best parts is that they have a fantastic gluten-free pizza, which my son has been eating almost every time we come dying here.

Been going here for years and it never disappoints. I usually get the steak salad but this time I went with the ahi Tina wrap and boy was it good. 10 out of 10 would recommend to a friend. Good food and good vibes.

I can honestly say that I have never had a bad meal here, everything is cooked as ordered and arrives at the table hot and fast. For a restaurant of this size, their kitchen staff is amazing.
