Very disappointed with the service at Mene. My friend and I were seated and then completely forgotten about — no one came to take our order for almost 30 minutes. During that time, no one even checked in on us or offered water. When we finally got someone’s attention, they seemed rushed and uninterested. The sushi itself was okay, but the poor service really ruined the experience. Definitely expected better from a place with such good reviews.

I've only been here a couple times because I am not usually in this area but our friends who live near here recommended it for a game night and we liked it so much we decided to go back! The staff is nice and everything was delicious!! The torched roll (ichiban I believe? It is called number one for a reason lol) we got was especially good but I also enjoyed the crunchy and salmon roll.

Ordered the heartbreaker roll and the rainbow roll. Heartbreaker roll was actually pretty good. Rainbow roll had mushy avocado, mushy cucumber, and mushy fish on top that tasted suspect. Unfortunately after a couple of bites of rainbow roll I couldn’t bring myself to eat anything else. When I mentioned that it wasn’t very good, I got Pooh poohed. Just paid and left. Live and learn. If you want a meal that won’t come up halfway down orchard lake, go to sushi samurai. Shame they were closed today (Monday). Oh, and the snickering from the “chefs” at the bar where I was seated was very rude.

A bit disappointed as this was my go-to for high quality, fresh sushi and the BEST bi-bim-bop for 2 decades! I recently dined in with my dad and sister and was very disappointed. The sushi was very meh. Salmon sashimi had fatty parts that were stringy and just sad looking. The rolls were way too mayonnaise-y and lacked flavor. The Bi Bim Bop was pretty good, but def not how i remember—it used to be loaded with fresh, vibrant veggies. This time it was mostly chopped meat and 80% filled with rice.
Service was okay—friendly but had to ask for utensils, water refills, etc from other staff when our server all but disappeared. Still gave 25% as that’s a tough job!
Travelled all the way from Florida and was so excited to go back to Mene. It definitely fell short of my memories and expectations.
