This is my most favorite or all the Japanese steakhouses, I've ever eaten at. The food is delicious, the service is great, the theatrics are fun for the kids in the hibachi room. When we're by ourselves, we prefer to sit on the patio. Nice and quiet and the heaters kept us warm and cozy. I would eat here EVERY DAY, except the price is a little too high for that, but as a treat or special occasion, it is my favorite place to go. The helpings are also generous so usually have enough food for a few more meals. Their sauces are the best, the yum yum sauce on the chicken and shrimp and the ginger on the filet and vegetable is what I like. The quality of all the protein is so incredibly good. That's what really keeps us coming back. Love love love love love this restaurant!!

Food was great! We went on Tuesday for the sushi 50% deal. The only thing I did not appreciate was the 20% service charge over the regular price already including in the bill. I would do 25 or 30% over the total but did not like the fact that it is already included on the bill with no notice.

Service below par even to the extent that waiters were also assigned duty to work at bar as well resulting into comprised service. Food was just ok. Over all not worth the money and effort .

Overall, we had a very nice dining experience. The food was very tasty, well seasoned and cooked perfectly. We were a party of two and did not appreciate the automatic 20% service charge or gratuity that was added. We typically tip more than that amount, especially when the service is outstanding and we realize one can always add more. However, our goal when tipping is to reward good service. It is not our intent to subsidize your employee salaries. We never see mandatory service charges after paying for a mechanics' service - or any other service related businesses. This automatic service charge will play a role in our choice of restaurants going forward. You've taken away our reward mechanism and degraded this act of service.

The noise level is way over the top for sure. Our server, Lauren, was ok at best. She was not very attentive to drinks. If it wasn't for the food quality and taste being very good this review would have been much lower. Lastly the employees here should all be given a medal for having to deal with a relatives of this establishments kids birthday party. These kids were out of control and zero was being done to control them but I believe the staffs hands were very tied.

The Tuesday half price Sushi special lured us in and Nara did not disappoint! The Sushi rolls were very tasty, especially the Nara 101. The service was good, but we didn't require much attention and the lounge area was not too busy when we were there. The other times we have gone to Nara were on the weekends, and it was a much different atmosphere (more quiet and relaxed) on Tuesday. We are looking forward to stopping in for the Wednesday or Thursday night specials sometime soon! The reason for the 4 star rather than 5 star rating is due to the automatic tip being added to the bill. Yes, they tell you on the website that they calculate the tip based on the regular menu prices, but they do not tell you that it is 20% or automatically added. I would probably tip that amount anyway, for exceptional service, but I don't think Nara needs to make that decision for me.

We went to Nara to celebrate our marriage. There were 10 people in our party, we thought this would be an exciting thing to do and a good way to celebrate with a large party. The chef was entertaining... but forgot to give a few of our guests their white rice. After asking 3 times, we did receive it on our way out. Also the fried rice didn't have much chicken in it for the amount of people that requested it. Was disappointed with that. The steak, scallops, salmon, shrimp and chicken were all wonderful! They forgot to bring 3 drinks to our table, we had to ask 2 times to finally get them, so we could do a toast. My sister ordered the celebration with a sign, $50, and thought everyone at our table would get ice cream. Only my husband and I received the ice cream. It was a lot of money for not much of anything. Overall an ok experience, I don't know that I would go back.

Love when we cane here for hibachi on the table Thought Thursday was 1/2 off on hibachi and lounge. We were told the special was only for the lounge. Love the food! The server was great This is one of our favorite! I suggest they offer another seafood option for the special I don't eat meat or shellfish. I liked the Nara salad but the salmon extra was very thin.

I made dinner reservations for my husband's birthday for what I thought was for 12 people. However only put the number 2 in the reservation. When we arrived, the hostess accompanied our large group and was able to seat us together as a group of 12. Thank you again!

The husband took me for my 50th birthday. It was amazing. Service, chef, and food amazing. They even came out and sang Happy Birthday with lit sparkles at the table. It was our first experience there, and I thought it would be weird being seated with about 20 strangers. But it was fun, we all joined together.

I always enjoy going to Nara, good food, vibes and the whole 9 yards. I also came on a Tuesday and didn't realize they had half off sushi which was a plus. I recommend going here for good quality time.
