Best bagels. Period! Fair prices. Good service.

Great fresh selection , staff is fast. Tip them.

Best to go after the regular crowd. Otherwise, you may get trampled and not served in the order of your arrival. They have great bagels but I prefer to go where I am appreciated just as much as the regular customers.

The bagels were good fresh and hot service was also fast prices are very reasonable

On behalf of the Jewish War Veteran (JWV) Post 510, we would like to express our gratitude to Phil, owner of New York Bagel of West Bloomfield, for the hospitality of his team for allowing our Post Members to use his place for our annual Poppy Sale.
The entire staff at New York Bagel are to be commented on their superior customer service. Alicia, Teresa, Gunnar, Brett, Lilian,Thalia & Isabella, plus the others that worked the other days we were there. They could not do enough to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. And the customers that donated to our Poppy sale were just as wonderful.
Thank you again to everyone for allowing us the use of your property for our annual Poppy Sale.

I have been on the hunt for a good bagel, couldn't even get one in Ann Arbor...(sorry Zingerman's was not up to par, Bagel Fragel were ok, Panera is also meh, Einstein's is just bread..etc)

THIS PLACE is Yum! It had just the right amount of chew. The everything bagel with lox was delicious! It had a nice amount of seasoning that didn't just fall off when I took a bite. Very nice customer service considering I went in during the AM rush.

I want to try some of the cold salads and the smoked sablefish. Will be back for sure!

Really unfriendly, borderline hostile service (really simple order, nothing special to have to deal with) and bagels did not taste or feel fresh. Someone was in back making bagels but who knows when those ones will make it out for sale. And my everything bagels went in the same brown bag as egg and sesame, no separation—I have never had that happen. Bummer, my search for decent bagels continues, and definitely do not recommend this one.

Delicious! Service was fast and friendly (which is extra impressive considering they were packed!) I personally don't love fennel on my everything bagels but honestly the bagel was so good I didn't even mind it. Thanks for a fabulous breakfast tou made this bagel snobs day!

Ordered a bagel and lox with double meat. Best one I've ever had.

Ordered a bagel sandwich on an onion bagel with corned beef, Swiss cheese, and Russian dressing. The sandwich I got was on the wrong bagel, had no Russian dressing, and was not toasted (maybe I should have specifically asked for it to be toasted, so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt here. Still, though, you would think it would just be assumed, or that someone at the counter would ask). The staff seemed overwhelmed, disorganized, and frankly annoyed. I get it — people in West Bloomfield kind of suck — but I would recommend just going to the location in Ferndale instead. They seem to have their act together. Still, the price is good and the bagels are good quality, so that’s something.

The worst Tuna Salad ever. I wasted my money because I threw away 1/2 pound. They put a spice in the Tuna that did not belong.It was very spicy and nothing that I've ever tasted before in Tuna Salad. Plus the tuna was dry as were all the bagels.I was so disappointed. I don't get to West Bloomfield much. This is not the New York Bagel I remember from years ago.
