I had high hopes for Paris Pastry in West Bloomfield, but unfortunately, it didn’t deliver. I ordered six macarons and was pretty disappointed — they were expensive, yet the quality didn’t match the price. Instead of being delicate and melt-in-your-mouth, the cookies were old, hard, and overly crispy — more like chalk than a treat. For the cost, I expected much better.

As others have pointed out, this is not a French pastry at all. Basically, they have Middle Eastern sweets called baklava. I ate it for the first time and it was very cheap, but I was surprised at how delicious it was!

Why are you called Paris Pastry but they have no actual French pastries, and only Arabic stuff? Okay, strange. That's like opening a place called Burger Palace and only selling Tacos. Drove up here expecting an actual French pastry shop (since that's literally the name) and was disappointed. Looked around anyway, the prices are sky high compared to better places in Dearborn.

I recently visited Paris Pastries and had a mixed experience. The pastries themselves were delicious and lived up to the bakery's reputation. However, my interaction with the staff was disappointing. The lady at the counter seemed quite unfriendly and short-tempered. I understand that everyone has bad days, but it made my visit less enjoyable. I hope that in the future, the customer service can match the quality of the pastries.
The woman at the counter made us wait with our small kid because she was putting out some cookies. When we tried to ask if they at least had the options we were interested in, she just interrupted with something like "I'm almost done here." We bought a few cookies, paid $17. Some were okay, others tasted stale and old. Not planning to return.

Spent $40 on a small cake and it tasted like it had sat on a shelf for six months. Once i got it home and looked at it you could see where the berries on top had been replaced. (and from the taste of the cake, they’d been replaced more than once) Cake was absolutely dry and had terrible flavor to it.
Birthday ruined. Most definitely pass on this place. Semi rude staff too

I went to order a birthday cake , but decided to order from the place in Livonia which is tried and tested already since i wasnt getting good vibes from this place. However we got few pastries and kanafah before we left tge store. I never post reviews for any resturaunt ever, this is tge 1st time because i couldnt stop myself after eating their apricot pastry and tiramisu. I am a coffee lover but this is the WORST tasting tiramisu i ever had. The apricot pastry had a strong refrigerator smell ,very weird . I am just so so happy that we decided not to order cake from this place. Dont get deceived by tge name Paris Pastry, its just a regular Arabic dessert place.
