Pickles & Rye Deli

Came here for the first time today and I was very disappointed. Never in my life had I had a deli sandwich that I had to chew and chew and CHEW like it was a tough steak because I was constantly spitting out gristle. The pastrami had great flavor but do people a favor and trim that sucker before slapping it on a piece of bread. I also didn’t think there was much value for the size of the sandwich for the price. The bread also was very ordinary- don’t think I’ll be back.

Patty melt had dried out bread, as hard as a rock. Waitress forgot the ordered French fries and did not seem to care. Others in our party were almost finished by the time she checked with us. Sent the sandwich back and told her to forget about the missing fries and not to attempt to make another patty melt. Ended up leaving without eating. Terrible place.
Owner asked that I contact him. I did. He never replied. Pretty much just like his staff. Unresponsive.

Delicious! The whitefish dip with the homemade bagel chips was tremendous! I really appreciated the vegetarian options and highly recommend the visceral vegetarian sandwich.

No napkins!? No spoon to eat soup? What is going on??

Salads are fresh and good value.

Edit- raw chicken. The wrong food served. Forgotten in a corner and a server that can't be found. I ordered chicken in a pot and it was served without matzo ball, kreplach and noodles. After waiting for the server to come back, it just went downhill from here. This used to be a great place. Now it's an avoid

Amazing place. I believe that more restaurant's should serve pickles with every meal. Like a bread basket but just pickles

Ordered a reuben. The marble rye bread was small which made the sandwich small. Poor value for the amount they cost.

Ordered a cubano and onion ring, first time giving the place a try.

Onion rings are excellent. Great batter.

The cubano was a bit of a disaster. Still tasty but had only 1 pickle, almost no mayo, and so much mustard the outside and inside of the sandwich were covered in mustard. It was served on white bread, i think, which is odd for ! Cubano. Still tasty tho.

The reason for only 3 stars is cause the pickle that came with my meal was not good at all. If it's in the name of the business, the pickle better be damn good.

Will probably be back but not gonna be my goto deli most likely.

This is probably the only NY style deli place in this area . We eat here regularly and the sandwiches are always great .

our server was amazing. i believe her name is railyn, she was very nice and accommodating. however, the manager with the short hair i think her name is Trish, was not so nice. i noticed the way she talks to her employees and i personally wouldn’t want to be treated as such. other than that the food was good and our server did a good job.
