Breakfast sausage is low quality they cook hash browns on one side only an put them on a plate they need a new toaster because it’s not toast if I wanted bread only I’d say bread only. place could be better waitress was cool but if I have to send my food back and my wife eats while my food is getting right I’m not happy

Such a great little breakfast joint hidden in a small little strip mall. Family owned, with another great place down the street, the food is consistently good, service is fast, and they always greet you with a welcome smile. A breakfast staple of West Bloomfield.
This place used to look like a hole in the wall, but they then made a huge revamp, and it looks great now, with more space and a better interior look! Unfortunately, the Mexican Omelette & Hash Browns that I ordered had no flavor, even when covered over with salsa and covered over with pepper!
Basic. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Hash browns very basic. Pancakes fine. Veggie burger was just ok but they charged me $1 for a slice of onion - who does that!? You get fries with your burger but onion is an up charge. $3.50 for one pancake and $$ for fresh OJ. So $40 for 2 people for breakfast was a shock. Wow. Served us a chipped plate too which is a no-no in the industry. Don’t see the appeal to this place, that’s ok, first and last time there anyway. Server at least was prompt and pleasant.

Sunny’s Café lives up to its name! Not only was the sun shining bright when we arrived (perfect for the picture I snapped of the outside), but the entire experience felt warm, welcoming, and full of good energy.
The food was fresh, delicious, and exactly what you’d hope for at a breakfast and brunch spot. Even better, the service was outstanding. Norma, our waitress, was phenomenal—attentive, kind, and truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time.
Between the sunshine outside, the bright and inviting atmosphere inside, and Norma’s amazing service, Sunny’s Café really shines as a go-to brunch spot in West Bloomfield. I’ll definitely be back and recommending it to friends and family! 🌞🍳🥞

Sunny’s is hands-down my favorite breakfast and lunch spot—I’m here at least twice a week. The place is always clean, the vibe is warm and welcoming, and the staff truly go above and beyond.
I’m obsessed with their fluffy egg white omelette—seriously, no one else does it like Sunny’s. And the service? Impeccable. I’ve never had to ask for a coffee refill—my cup is always full.
It’s the kind of place that feels like home. Great food, great people, consistently excellent. Couldn’t recommend it more.
