I have always enjoyed our food from Sushi Samurai. But on a day like today, while standing outside their door (5 minutes before opening for lunch service), in the pouring rain, the employee who saw me dripping wet did not have the courtesy of opening the door for me. And also left 2 or 3 other patrons standing in the rain. With 3 other restaurant options in this plaza, that was a mistake on her part. Very disappointing.

Always a struggle. Never allowed to upgrade simple items, even if you’re willing to pay more. Pulling teeth for them to give gluten free soy sauce to go (only for dine in) because they don’t want to put it in a plastic container. Just very simple things that would make a customer feel mildly appreciated go overlooked.

i never write reviews although i feel i must with sushi samurai considering i’ve been coming here for years and have Never been treated with kindness and respest. As a last resort i came with my sister, her friend, and some kiddos. The lady who was “helping” us should be ashamed of how she treated us. Every single time i have ever been to sushi samurai they are the rudest people. I was taking a cute video of my 1 yr old neice eating noodles to send to my parents, our server saw this, came up to me with all of our sushi in her hand and lectured me for 5 minutes on how she does not like to have any videos of her taken. I literally had to take the sushi tray out of her hand. I wasn’t taking a video of her. She was no where near it, not even in the background. It was very odd and she is extremely rude.

Waited almost 45min for our food. No one checked in or told us it would take that long for our sushi. We asked on the status of our order twice. One of the servers apologized for the long wait. The food was good.

this is my favorite restaurant to get sushi from and to get a carry out with me and my family. sushi is the best and also the other types of food they have and the vibe is great. highly recommend coming to this establishment!

Service was great and I like the diner style restaurant.They add vegetables to the shrimp and to the calamari tempura appetizers, I imagine to make it seem more substantive. You can't get more shrimp or calamari by asking to hold the vegetables.I found it slightly greasy; tempura tends to be drier and lighter in other places.The shrimp and calamari appear to have been cooked prior to frying.I was underwhelmed.
