Sweet Dreams Bakery

We ordered a wedding cake back in May for Saturday, July 12. We paid the initial $100 deposit and were told that the balance was due prior to delivery which is standard and we understood.

We received MULTIPLE phone calls from the bakery the Tuesday before our wedding stating that final payment was due for the cake and asking if we could extend the delivery window. I explained to the lady I spoke to that I had a call scheduled with our event coordinator that night and would call back with the window for delivery. After I spoke to our coordinator at 6pm, I promptly called the bakery that evening and stated that I would be in the following day with final payment and the delivery window.

My fiancé and I both got calls the following morning around 9am stating that if they didn’t get payment that day, that our cake would be canceled. Not something to tell a bride the week of her wedding especially since I had called to state I would be bringing in final payment. I wish that was the end of it.

We received over 5 phones calls between the two of us the day before our wedding, stating that if we wanted flowers on our wedding cake that they would need to be driven to their Warren store to be able to be placed on the cake by 7pm. We did not ask for flowers to be placed on the cake, it was always our intent and the bakery was told that we would be placing them ourselves. Again, not something you want to hear the day before your wedding.

Unless you are purchasing a pre made cake or dessert, I would not recommend this bakery. There is a lack of communication between staff.

Best place to order cakes for special occasions...

The cake I got was good but they lost my order I was lucky enough to find the same cake in the case so I ordered that. The lemon cake is delicious and super fluffy it's has a light lemon flavor so it's good for people who hate the strong taste of lemon. The cake I got is called lemon delight I also got a few cupcakes. They tasted fine I did think the chocolate cupcake was dry but I think it's because they were left out for awhile but other than that its a good cake place I do definitely want to try other pastries they have especially their cheesecakes. Also the writing I wanted they did too quickly that's why it looks not the greatest. Also I'd like to add when I tried ordering through the phone they said I was able to pay in the store after i spoke to the lady who took all my information such as phone number name and the time I'll be going to pick up my cake I made sure to ask a few times if it was okay I could pay in store and she said yes that's completely fine. She didn't say I needed to place part of the payment down then pay for the rest later. I hope this helps future people who order cakes from here just to triple ask about everything just in case this happens to someone else

Our family loves sweet dreams! The cakes are amazing and the ice cream tasted wonderful!! We love how clean it is as well!

Was treated very rudely by an older gentleman that works there with gray hair. I was so embarrassed. I will not return and will tell ally family and friends. New owners need to do a better job.

I needed a cake for my father's birthday. And we came here purely by accident. And it's good that we stopped by, they met our expectations☺️ the cake and pastry were so tasty, I can't put it into words. Now my family and I are regular customers of this place 🌹🥰

There is a large selection and the cakes are amazing. I love that there are a variety of sizes aa well. The bite size desserts are great for afternoon teas and parties.

I had a surprise from my family today. It's my birthday today and I did not have any special plans.
Several of my family came over and my daughter brought a beautiful birthday cake from Sweet Dreams Bakery.
Oh my goodness, the cake was outstanding!!! It was a huge hit. It was white cake and chocolate cake, with chocolate and white chocolate strips of chocolate on the outside. I am sorry I didn't take a picture of it. It was the best cake I've had in a very long time.
Thank you to the creative person who designed it and made it. Kudo's to you. I would highly recommend your bakery to everyone.
