I love this place. Fantastic for birthday cakes/special occasion desserts. Where I usually go to most of the time in those cases. What an amazing bakery! I just moved to Michigan and I'm thrilled to have found this treasure. Tiramisu was prefect. Venetian Delight impeccable. Dulce Split amazing. Cookies and cream shake was delicious. Some of the best carrot cake I've ever had. My son and I shared each of these items and were very impressed and happy with our decision.Thank you for being open late on a Saturday night!Update: Still consistently fantastic. Bummed they're not on ubereats anymore. They have made last minute cookie cakes for me two years in a row. We've tried almost everything by now and it's all superb and they're always friendly and happy to help.

Let me start by saying I'm kicking myself for not coming here sooner, I moved over this way 7 years ago and I've drove by so many times. It was Wednesday and I don't get cravings for sweets like ever it's mainly my husband and I'll have a bite but I was full on needing something! Only a few minutes down the street from me which is dangerous now that I've stopped in. I was quickly greeted by two super friendly women and my eye quickly flew to the left wall of cases packed with cakes of all sizes, treats and other pastries. It took me a bit to decide but I got key lime cheesecake, lemon cheesecake, carrot cake and a bigger lemon cheesecake. Oh don't forget the bumpy cupcake! Everything was packaged nicely and looked so pretty. The keylime cheesecake was really good, I need to get a bigger piece or whole cheesecake ha. I like how the little lemon cheesecake was coated it was the perfect balance airy bite! Idk why but I've been wanting banana bread and carrot carrot cake lately, I liked this carrot cake but it could have a slightly stronger flavor but that's just me. The bumpy cup cake is exactly what you think. The chocolate was moist and the cream was so light and everything went together perfect! I cannot wait to stop back in and get more! All of the full size cakes, bites, etc are all priced very reasonably so all the more reason to grab a few things to try!

I headed to Sweet Dreams Bakery having used them over one year ago for my son’s graduation cake. Their cakes and pastries are simply the best. However what prompted me to write a review today was going in to the Orchard Lake branch and to be served BRILLIANTLY by Emma so on top of having excellent products the service is as great. The cake I purchased from Sweet Dreams was not only beautiful to look at, it was definitely one of the most delicious cakes I’ve ever eaten! The employees were so friendly and helpful, and the store was bright and clean.All of us will buy Sweet Dreams cakes in the future!Wheelchair accessibility: I am not in a wheelchair, but the store had no barriers to entry and was very roomy inside.
So I have tried Sweet Dreams twice recently, aside from a few times back in the day. My opinion is that there is a nice little variety to pick from and that is enjoyable, but I don't always love the desserts. Sometimes they're just sweet and a weird flavor, but nonetheless they do just hit the spot when you have a sweet tooth. Also there is a Haagen-Daz attached in the store and cookies available, so there really is a lot to choose from! The service was good too, very attentive and friendly. There's seating, while not a very "cute" ambiance, it's available if you want it.

I called 9:15am, explained that I need cake next day for my son Bday, girl confirmed that bakers said yes, told me to come and place order. I came 4:15pm and store clerk told it not possible. It was very rude, unpleasant and upsetting how they handled whole sutiotion. Basically ruined my son Bday.
