Val's Delicatessen

Way way way overpriced...more than other deli's in my area...a breakfast for three of us was $75 + tip, breakfast...unbelievable. sake....and it wasn't even that good (over cooked and slightly burned omelet made like a frittata - if I wanted a "egg pizza" I'd have ordered one). Ok, the coffee was good.

Unfortunately pretty bad place and we will never visit again.
The waiting staff ignored me and only talked to my wife. The busboy kept giving me a side eye throughout and ignored my request for water. Food was average at best they forgot part of my order (sandwich and fries and they forgot fries come on!)
If you’re in hospitality business, it’s pretty basic to treat customers with respect. I’m not expecting them to hold the door or pull the chair for me. But at least bring the water and my order.

I visited this place on October 10th around lunchtime, I wanted to try a new place. I got there turkey chili before nightfall I was so sick I had to stop at a local establishment on the way home from picking up my daughter to use the bathroom. I almost pooped myself in the car. I had explosive diarrhea. Be wary of this place. Never coming here again.

I love heading straight to the deli counter to see what they have that day & grab a bite on the go, but they also have seat-yourself tables where you can be waited on. The mac and cheese and turkey noodle were both really good and hot. The sesame chicken is good but it was not warm the employee did not give me the option. They have a ton of different stuff here! Lots of soups & salads. The turkey chili I would give a 5/10, the flavor was good and it was super hot, but I wish it had vegetables or beans or something in addition to the turkey.

Based solely on the men’s bathroom. My first visit at this restaurant. The restaurant is busy. The bathroom is CLEAN! Well stocked, everything works properly and a scent machine keeps it smelling clean. This is a 5 star bathroom. All restaurants should attain this level of cleanliness and proper up-keep. Well done Val’s!

I apologize for only giving Val’s Delicatessen 4 stars. Having lived in New York, I’m used to the exceptional corned beef and pastrami on rye from Carnegie Deli, which sets a very high standard. While Val’s offers great quality and tasty options, it didn’t quite match up to the legendary experience I had at Carnegie Deli. Nevertheless, Val’s Delicatessen still provides a solid and enjoyable deli experience.

Good corned beef sandwich. Very good service. Bobbie was the waitress. She was very quick to get everything out. Mushroom barley soup was good. Not the best I’ve ever had. Price was reasonable for soup and half sandwich Over all a very good little deli. I will come back.

Staff is not too friendly. You are not greeted or even acknowledged when you step in, often left standing there waiting for sometimes over 10 minutes before someone even says hello, even if they are right next to the door at the register. Can’t even bother to look up and acknowledge customers or let us know they’ll be with us shortly. The last time we waited for almost ten minutes and just left. We enjoy the food but I do think staff needs training in customer service.

Ordered a deli tray and it was really nice. Generous portions and they even put flowers on top. Highly recommend if you need a tray!

Delicious salad and the dressing was my favorite, no wonder why my kids love to dine and takeout from here , they love zip pasta and zip fries . Very clean and friendly servers .

I paid 20 dollars for a corn beef sandwich. There were no sides included. The meat was not a premium quality. It was a generous amount of meat, however. I feel the entre was overpriced.
