Some Applebee's are better than others, and this one was great! We sat at a high-top table in the bar section so the bartender waited on us. She was very familiar with the menu, enough to get us the best deal on what we wanted. She picked my drink for me, Bahama Mama, and was spot on with my tastes! I gave her a business card of mine in case she needed a house built. Also, with ½off appetizers, our bill was unbelievably low! If you find yourself hungry or thirsty in West Branch, give it a try! We have been to this location several times with a few minor issues here and there .... overall most of the workers are great and food is good but they have a lady i believe named Tristen and she is beyond horrible she brought out 2 sizzling skillets and tried to set them down on a full table in front of our 1yr old son.... we asked her not to do so and she just walked away without saying a word leaving the food within reach of our toddler later she tries to bring someone elses food to our table without even apologizing for her previous error

My dad and I went to get an early dinner, first day with power after the whole region was out. They had signs on the door saying limited help and limited menu. Wasn't sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised, the service was amazing, friendly, fast, attentive. The food came out fast. It was fresh and hot and tasty. I originally was going to order nachos, but the waitress said they couldn't do nachos or the bowls. That's ok, I ordered my second choice oriental chicken salad, it a very good. I ordered a strawberry tea with extra strawberry, still would have liked it a little more berry taste. My dad ordered the chicken and shrimp. It came with mashed potatoes and lots of onions.

I was sitting there waiting on my meal and I noticed that people in front of me said their food was cold. The people behind me had a special order. No onions and they got onions. My order was kind of cold but it was still good.
