worst dining experience ever. poor service, 2 people got sick from the white fish. Food was at best warm. overly priced. (3 pcs. of shrimp for $21.00) Tried calling 4 times and no answer and no call back from messages.
This place can’t ever pass a health department inspection…..
Went here for an early lunch/brunch. It was not busy, however took over 90 minutes to get our food. Traveled with a toddler and this wait for seemingly no reason was very challenging. One member of our party couldn’t come, and I wanted to order something to-go. They had me choose from the brunch menu then returned later to tell me it was now the regular menu due to the time and I had to order something else. Customer service was below average at best.
Father's Day and server was very accommodating to move us to an outdoor table with shade. Despite being told over phone when we made reservations, there were no Father's Day specials which was disappointing.. Tomato soup with Borsin cheese was excellent. Another member of our party had fish chowder and said it was amazing. Fish tacos were disappointing.. soggy taco shells and despite all the interesting Toppings somehow lacking much flavor. I wouldn't order tacos again. Beach House Burger was enjoyed. Veggie Burger needed much more flavor.. was very dry and bland. Needs sauce or at least mustard. Beet Salad was good. Lemon Cake was nice but too sweet. Pistachio Creme Brulee was inspired. Overall food was average but good and we'll come back. It was lunchtime when we dined and would like to see what the chef does with breakfast and dinner.
So, first I'd like to say that we first discovered this place a couple of weeks ago. We had lunch, and it was lovely. Food was great. Waitress was even better. So, we thought... let's take our son there for his 21st birthday. We made reservations. The system even asked if there was a special occasion, so I added that it was our son's birthday. Not that we expected anything really in return, but again the system did ask. We get there, and just like before the ambiance was great. Everything seemed ok, until we met our waiter. He wasn't very personable at all. I asked if by chance they would let me order a BLT off the lunch menu, and he responded with "I"ll ask, but I can tell you they probably won't let you". I wasn't going to be bothered if they said no; I just did not like his response. My husband and I both ended up ordering the fish and chips. The fish looked crispy, but it was anything but. The meal was ruined for me at that point. My daughter ordered the bacon bbq burger, and it was $17. My son ordered just a normal burger but asked for bacon. They charged $17 but added an additional $4 for bacon. lol Make that make sense. Both of the kids' meals were upcharged an additional $4 for fries, I know stuff is pricey these days, so I just had to chuckle. Never once did our waiter come and ask us how our food was, and they were not busy at all. Lastly, why was I asked if we were celebrating a special occasion? Nobody even as mentioned a Happy Birthday. In all, it wasn't a great night. If we go back, it would probably just be for lunch, and hopefully the waitress that was so great the first time we went, will be there again.
Very disappointing experience from the service to the food. Long wait for drinks. 30 minutes after ordering beef stroganoff the waitress says they are out of it. Didn't think to bring a menu for my guest to choose something else. Takes the new order to the kitchen then comes back and says they made stroganoff with steak instead without checking with the customer. Steak was black, dry, and sitting on top of the noddles. So wrong. Gorgonzola was overwhelming on the room temperature burger. Fries were slightly above room temperature. Ate less than half. Fortunately the mom in our group is easy to please and liked her shrimp tacos so we were happy about that. Used to really like this place, Thursdays especially. But no more.
We will wait to come back until outside seating is available. We were in a small back room with two tables of at least 10 or more individuals who were loud and obnoxious. Lots of shouting and F bombs going on. Staff was able to accommodate our request to move to a different table in another part of the restaurant. Great food and service. Don't go there if you're looking for a quiet dining experience.
Our server, Deanna, was wonderful. Always there when we needed something, without hovering. The noise level was a bit of a distraction, but it was a busy Friday night, so we expected that.
All our food was great! Chef came out to chat with most of the customers and so did the manager! Prices are a little high but everything is expensive these days. We will be back for the bourbon? events the manager mentioned! And happy hour to hang with Ryan the bartender.
Made reservations well in advance-(valentines day) when our table was ready they wanted to seat us next to the kitchen door where wait staff went in and out- asked to be accommodated in a different seating area and they said it was not available at that time, although there were several empty seats...they could of easily switched us with no problem- sat at the bar where bar tender was more engaging to people he seemed to know-not very attentive us-disappointing. Would have been nice to have some entertainment Food was good tho...

I'm not sure how many pizzas they sell be in a pretty remote area but I tryed the bbq pizza and pepperoni pizza recently. Over all save your 18 dollars don't get the pepperoni. Bbq is Slightly below average until you get to the crust, then it changes to I would feel guilty feeding it to my dog.... I was really hoping it would be amazing considering there is almost no options for close takeout in the area. I would be hard pressed to spend money and try again...
First time back in about a year. Incredibly disappointing... they used to have excellent crafted bar cocktails, our bourbon drinks were terrible. Half of the menu was unavailable (mussels, scallops, flatbread, short rib, and a few other items- it was a joke). Was looking forward to a great dinner with my wife - happy to spend $100 on a sitter and $200+ at dinner. Won't be giving them another try. Something serious has changed.
Very cold and side door keeps getting opened which makes it difficult to have a comfortable dining experience. Menu changes have not been great. Been here last few times and super disappointed in food and pricing for what you get. Used to love this place. I won't be rushing back any time soon!
We went on Thursday Jazz night, and it was great! The service and food were outstanding-we both had etouffe and loved it. The chef came by to chat as we were finishing—a thoughtful touch. The music was great - a young female vocalist and a keyboard player. We'll be back!
I ordered the Ratatouille for $20 and it was basically a dish of red sauce with a single layer of zucchini on top. Ratatouille is traditionally LAYERS of thinly sliced vegetables. On top of this, is was a very small portion. I was disappointed with my meal.
