Benny's Pizza

We visited recently and found ourselves wanting to leave right away. Our waitress, Gabby, did an excellent job all night even though she was the only one serving almost 40 people. We ordered appetizers and were seriously dismayed. We got the sampler and everything was overcooked, even though it was early and only a few patrons in the place. The bar ran out of 3 different liquors that night because their delivery had not come. But being around the industry for a long time I knew they had other options. You would think they would keep a full stock bar when you have a party of 40 plus a band and their followers coming in. Poor judgement. The pizza we were served rated on of the top ten worst pizzas I have ever eaten. Tasteless.. sawdust would have been better. Through all of that, our waitress kept a smile and did her job as best she should. Management needs to look at staffing more people on nights they know they are going to be full and check the quality of food they serve. Also, keep a well stocked bar as I probably would have spent an additional $100 just in drinks and stayed longer.

This little place reminds me of when I was a kid and our family went out for pizza. So nostalgic. Love coming here. Great food and fun atmosphere.

Extremely disappointed!
We were fans of Benny’s for years, due to our schedules we hadn’t been in a while.
The service ( one waitress for about a half an hour). We entered into the restaurant at 4:25, we were the only two customers.
The waitress wasn’t friendly, she just did the bare minimum. Never refilled water ( never asked).
Food was small portions, the bread was cut up into mini pieces, served with no utter or sauce. I requested marinara ( 99 cents up charge ) there was more marinara than bread! BBQ ribs come with a salad and a piece of bread . We ordered chips (1.50)
I ordered a meatball and it was served COLD!
I explained it was cold they put it in the microwave….
Credit cards have a surcharge.
The waitress was slow, unfriendly and seriously did the least amount of work possible.
Well that was the last time we will visit.
Just not what it used to be! 😞

Underwhelmed - been going here for 30 years - always had great food and prices - prices went up and quality not the same - pizzas had very little items - sad

Amazing pizza!! I love this place!

I got their deep dish and dip n cheese bread, and it was great. They make a great pizza and make it their own at an affordable price, i would opt this over jets or other chains any day. My buddy nick said the same thing!

Band was good, food wasn't good pizza wasn't cooked.

Very good food. The salad was a little small.
