Normally I’m always willing to pay $6 for a sausage bagel but today it looked like one of the employees went 30 seconds with it, WWE style. I don’t know if I should feel sorry for my bagel or me who has to eat it lol

Friendly, fast service. This establishment was clean and busy. Although they were really busy they took time to greet us when we walked in. They took our order immediately and had it ready in under 4 minutes. I would absolutely come here again.

Never been to a coffee shop that put customer service or satisfaction last ! From the staff to management, RUDE. If the owner knew how many everyday customers they discourage from coming in this location, I’m sure they wouldn’t be happy with their money being stopped for a bunch of immature, racist, rude people! I’ll NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DOLLAR WITH THIS LOCATION.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but my recent experiences at Biggby Coffee were frustrating enough to say something. For starters, the prices are outrageous for what you actually get. They’ve clearly jumped on the price-gouging bandwagon, charging premium prices for drinks that are average at best. I don’t mind paying more for quality, but Biggby isn’t delivering.
To make matters worse, the cleanliness of the store left a lot to be desired. Tables were sticky, the floors looked like they hadn’t been swept in hours, and don’t even get me started on the state of the bathrooms. It made me question the hygiene standards behind the counter too.
What really sealed the deal for me was the management. The manager, Alyssa, doesn’t seem to have a handle on the place at all. She came across as unprofessional, dismissive of customer concerns, and more focused on chatting than actually managing her team or maintaining the store. Leadership sets the tone, and unfortunately, her poor management reflects in the overall atmosphere and service.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend Biggby Coffee if you’re looking for a clean, reasonably priced place to get your caffeine fix. There are plenty of better options out there where you’ll get more value for your money—and not have to second guess whether your cup came from a clean environment.

The coffee is, as always, spectacular. I used to go to this location all the time. But honestly I can’t keep going to this one because clearly something is up with management here. The past year it has slowly started to have more and more problems with getting orders done in a timely matter. It’s 20 minutes for a drink & they’ve gotten to the point they don’t even acknowledge it cause that’s the norm for them. The girls are kind but they are clearly stressing, my gues is too much coffee or a manager got them all on edge.
I give them chance after chance and my drink is still never right. The price difference between Michigan ave and ford rd is also crazy lol. Go to Michigan ave for cheaper. The staff there will also listen to your requests. At ford rd Some employees are joyful, but it’s just down hill every visit. I’m disappointed every time I go.

I was waiting for 30 minutes two people came after me got their order in five minutes they had the same sandwiches I had and she gave them their order before she gave me my order so I go up and ask like are you done with my sandwich ma’am? She says I have yours right here. I sat there and watched her make seven more sandwiches for drive-through customers. All these people came after I did, and everybody got their order except me mind you I was the only black guy in there I hate to pull that card, but all of the white people got their orders fast and in a hurry I was standing there for 30 minutes, they need to train their people better. The lady at the register was super nice she was black maybe it’s something in the water over here but there’s no way I should be standing there for 30 minutes two people come in behind me with a bigger order and they leave in five minutes and like I said they had the same order as I did the same exact sandwiches. Smh train your people better or pick better people people that serve all people not just who they want to serve. I gave them a tip and everything a generous one four dollars on a $15 order.

The last time I was there, our order got so messed up. But when the girl brought my order out, she handed me a couple of free drink coupons. Not many businesses make up for our inconveniences anymore. I usually just order a frozen teddy bear, and they are delicious every time.

I love going and relaxing in there comfy chairs. Megan owns the one in Westland and it's clean and all the girls are so friendly and helpful. They have great food and coffee. Nice place to meet people, chat by the fireplace in the winter. Bring the laptop and work if that's what you want to do too.
