We are incredibly grateful for Famous Dave’s Bar-B-Que and their continued generosity in supporting our annual silent auction at Newburg United Methodist Church. Each year, their donation helps raise funds for our Youth Group's (Newburg Student Ministry) mission trip with Appalachia Service Project, where we work to make homes in flood-affected areas safer, warmer, and drier.

Jenn was our server and she was absolutely wonderful! She made the experience so great. The food was so good, we got the feast for two and we will definitely come back in the future for it again. They even opened the doors for us on our way out since we had our baby in the stroller. Thank you Jenn!

My Ribs could barely be sawed off the bone. Tough as Kevlar. They were understaffed and managing well except there were 2 paper towels left on the roll when we sat down so I asked for more. Then the food came and we asked again. Then with BBQ sauce covered hands I asked a bus girl to Please 🙏 get me napkins. She went to reset a table that had a roll then left and walked by again with my hands dripping I yelled, please just get me a napkin. The waiter ran over telling me to calm down. I wasn't mad I was changing what I could. The waiter wasn't solving the problem so I did. My daughter was embarrassed 😳 and with 10 years in the NYC Restaurant Industry and former Restaurant owner as well as opener of a restaurant Nominated for Best New Restaurant and Best New Chef in America in 1994. This was underwriting not under staffing her. BBQ and Hardshell Crab Restaurants must have Napkins 110% of the time. Like not serving water to someone with a mouthful of Hot Peppers. I Tipped very well because it's not like the guy was smoking out back. He was busting his ass. I am results oriented and time had become a factor. I will never eat there again because of the ribs, not the service.
Just change the name to fried food Also the other menu options are very typical and similar to a regular pizza shop, & oh, the food is well below average, chicken could be used to scrub your driveway, beef is low quality grade & stuff is precooked, also it's a bit pricey for what you get in return

I wanted to give a huge shoutout to our server Jennifer. Even though she was extremely busy taking care of other tables, she was very kind, helpful, and attentive to us and our needs. She gave us suggestions that we liked and was very smiley and friendly. Although the food was mediocre, she definitely made up for it. My partner and I haven’t had a great server like her in this area for a while. Was nice and refreshing!
