I lost track of time and was way late ordering a cake from anyone. I got extremely lucky that Homestead was able to accommodate my order! They did a fantastic job with my son's 1st birthday cake/smash cake! The customer service was extremely friendly, helpful, and prompt to respond. Pricing was worth the product that we received. The two cakes looked wonderful and they tasted amazing! I would absolutely recommend this bakery for your event needs!

I emailed Trina on September 2nd to have a cake made my the 7th and she was able to accommodate. She emailed back right away, I sent her inspo pictures and paid online. We just finished the cake and wow, it was AMAZING. The frosting was not too sweet and the cake was perfect. It had a hint of coffee flavor which was a pleasant surprise, made it even better. I will order all my cakes from her in the future!

Homestead kitchen made our wedding cake & desserts. It was all amazing! We are IN LOVE with our cake! Definitely will be coming back again! They also did a cake for my bridal shower & cookies. We got sooo many positive compliments! Thanks so much for making our day even better!

I got married in June, and one of the things I was adamant I wanted to do right was cake. For years my mom and I have jokingly complained about the weddings which skimp on the dessert, whether that be doing a donut wall, cake pops, or worst of all, no dessert at all! I promised my mom that if I ever got married, I would have cake at my wedding, and it would be good cake. So trust me when I say I took my cake search seriously. I almost passed over Homestead because their prices were a bit outside the range I was aiming for, but their range of unique flavors kept drawing me back and convinced me to at least schedule a tasting. Trina goes above and beyond with her tasting appointments, where sample plates are prepared elegantly while she talks through your vision for what your cake will look like. Not only was the cake delicious and the pictures of her previous work beautiful, but she was SO kind and helpful throughout my whole decision journey. Any time I called she picked up right away and answered all my questions. Even after choosing Homestead, there were times leading up to the wedding where I had questions, and at one point when I needed advice on how to serve the cake (my venue charged a high fee to have their staff cut and serve the cake, so we decided to have a few cousins help us out), she walked me through tips on how to properly cut and serve wedding cake, and even emailed me instructions on the best way to do so! People had warned me that I'd likely have a lot of cake left over because too late in the night people start to ignore the dessert, but man, almost all of it was eaten by the end of the night! I barely even got my own slice! This is all to say, I highly recommend Homestead Kitchen; such a lovely and attentive company, with delicious and beautiful cake :)

Sent photos of ideas I had from Pinterest and asked them to do what they could and they went above and beyond. I’m going to drive out from downriver to order from them for now on!

My best friends wedding cupcakes were from here this past weekend, I’m convinced these were made by an angel and I can’t stop eating the leftovers I ended up with. AMAZING texture and taste ?

I have taken a few classes at homestead bakery (along with other bakeries). These are the best beginner friendly classes to learn to decorate. I have taken a cake class and a cookie class. The instructor was very helpful. Everyone was so nice and relaxed.

The Japanese Fruit Sandwiches were a big hit at our April meeting of the Monguagon Chapter, NSDAR. Our Honored Guest, Michigan's DAR State Regent loved them. Not only did they look beautiful, but they tasted delicious as well. Thank you again! You helped make a very special meeting a tremendous success.

I LOVE that Homestead offers Keto baked goods and is close to my home! The cookie tacos are incredible and I love the cupcakes. Can’t wait to use my gift card I received for Xmas!!!

We were referred here by another family member and so glad we came. We ordered a dozen cupcakes for another family member’s birthday and purchased bunch of other sweet treats. They were all delicious! The staff was also friendly and personable. We’ll be back.
