There is a reason why I avoid certain types of restaurants. Fried chicken carryout places I tend to avoid. I had a doordash pickup so what could go wrong. The man asked to confirm the orders. I took the pictures I needed and for some reason there was confusion. I am just as old as he is and the man chastises me like I'm a child. The man really wanted violence out of me the disrespect he was showing me. Luckily for the both of us I am a man of God so I kept my composure. I won't go back

Been coming here for years now and the only time I've been disappointed by this place is when they AREN'T open. The family who runs the place is so kind and considerate especially toward regulars. Coming from the south, I do love the vibes of this place as it feels like a proper little southern fish & chicken spot in the middle of Westland and the food is so good as well. Usually I will get the wing dings with a side of mac & cheese or fries and I don't think it's ever taken more than 15 mins to prepare. This most recent visit, my order had mistakenly been given to a different person ahead of us and they were kind enough to give us the side free if we could come back after a new order had been prepared! As for food quality in my experience - my chicken has never been undercooked, it's always been piping hot right when we arrive and crunchy still by the time you get home to eat it. The catfish is something I would also HIGHLY recommend, it's quite good with their signature lemon pepper seasoning.

I came here on 03/03/25 around 9:40pm. I ordered my usual 5 whole wing combo with a fruit punch. Food came out fast and hot as usual but my drink was so watered down. I told the young lady (with a long braid or low ponytail) and she told me that there’s no way it could be bitter because they just changed the juice so it’s fresh. I was just telling her the juice was watered down from all the ice. She straight up told me that I’d have to buy another drink if I didn’t want the watered down one she gave me. UNBELIEVABLE. I was not going to go back and forth with her because I just worked a 12hr shift so I’m just tired and ready for bed. But, It’s okay I will not be back. I did not like how this was handled at all.

Disappointment in This place they just can't get it right. Every time we order orange roughy fish from krispy chicken and fish they keep giving us catfish we pay for orange roughy, not catfish. It keeps happening so we won't spend money here no more. We have to go to a different place to give us the right fish. Because Krispy don't know the difference between catfish and Orange roughy

I would NEVER eat here again. It was my first time. When I called the guy that answer asked was it my first time, I told him “yes, I live nearby and for a long time I’ve been wanting to give it a try”, he replied and stated “well, you would always love the food and the service”, however, that was far from the truth. I asked for the food to be well done, it wasn’t even done and when my son went to pick up the order he said “ma, why you pick that place? No one greeted me and they acted as if they didn’t know what In was saying” which is crazy because all he was saying was he was picking up an order. So for my first experience to spend $40, have nasty uncooked food, and for my son to experience bad experience on the 1st experience is crazy. So NO, I would not be coming back.. FYI I told my cousin about my experience and she said when she experienced it tried the food it was nasty with no flavor and she order chicken strips.. smh…
DON’T waste you money$$$.. drive the miles and go to a Uncle Joes,, the westside Greenfield Location preferably.

Usually never any issues here always hot always correct order. Except today got some very undercooked wings. Only a couple were so didn’t notice it until we were halfway through the box.
