I've ate here a few times before and my food is usually exceptional. Today not so much. I ordered 2 chicken shawarma add turnips one lamb. My chicken was so dry the ratio of pickles and turnips were not there. I had 2 small pieces of turnips.

I had the chicken tawook sandwich with a side of fries. The service was great. However, the food wasn't. The sandwich was lukewarm and the chicken was super dry and flavorless. I was also disappointed with the fries. A side of fries costs almost $6 and they were frozen crinkle cut fries. For that price, they should have provided fresh cut fries. Unfortunately, this place is a miss for me and I will not return.

Shish Kabob Express in Westland has quickly become one of my favorite spots to eat. The food is on another level — the kabob and shawarma are honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. You can taste the freshness in every bite and it’s clear they put a lot of care into how everything is made.
What really stands out is the service. Firas is amazing, super friendly and genuinely cares about our experience. He always goes out of his way to make sure we’re happy, and he’s been incredibly accommodating with special meal requests. You just don’t get that kind of service at most places.
On top of that, the food is actually healthy, which is a huge plus. It's rare to find a place where the food tastes this good and you still feel good after eating it.
Highly recommend giving this place a try if you haven’t already. It’s one of those spots you keep coming back to.

I called about their Galaba dinner (Chicken option) and was assured it would be better than the place I currently visit. OMG! This guy wasn’t kidding! I was VERY impressed with how good everything was down to the sauce and even their Hummus! I’m definitely coming back again with my lady and compliments to the chef. 👏🏼
