Ah, Westland. The place where giving basic feedback about my drink apparently translates to a full-blown meltdown.
A barista screamed at me because I said I don’t usually need extra coconut milk when the drink is made correctly.
Never mind that I wasn’t blaming anyone—just stating a fact. But sure, let’s make it personal.
If you enjoy being verbally attacked over your beverage preferences, this is the spot for you. Otherwise, save yourself the headache.

It is rare I drink Starbucks as is but I happened to have a gift card from Xmas to use. To preface, Any other time I have ordered in the app, I pull up on the estimated ready time without any issue or complaint. Today was a different story. I ordered around 3:01 pm and the app gave me a “ready time” of 3:06pm. Like usual, I pull up at the speaker at the given time (3:06pm) say hello, give my name and the girl on the speaker says with an attitude “yeah uhh, next time give us more time it’s not even ready yet.” I tell her “my app says 3:06, that’s the time it told me to show up.” She says “uhh yeah that may be the time you get but the app is wrong and you shouldn’t go off of that, you need to add 7-10 minutes onto that because you’re showing up and it’s not made yet and you’ll be backing up the drive through because you have to wait.” Instead of going back and forth with her I asked her if I should back up and park somewhere to wait. “Uhh no it’s okay just pull up.” Idk if she was having a rough day or what, but theres a way you speak to people. To get an attitude with me because I pulled up too soon for you? Despite me just doing as the app said? Won’t be going to this location again that’s for sure.

Didn’t get greeted when I was at the counter for at least 10 mins. & there was at least 4 employees working at the time! Horrible customer service!

Staff was very rude, refused to make my drink stating they were closing down early (before the actual closing time).

This place sucks. I’ve stopped coming here and so should you, SAVE YOUR MONEY! The drinks are never consistent, I’ll pay an extra $1.25 for cold foam for them to barely put any on. The service is terrible and every single employee is rude. I love when I pull up to the speaker and it’s just silence.. like I don’t mind holding but at least tell me you’ll be right with me so I know you know I’m here. I’ve worked as a barista before and this is just sad.
EDIT: one time I was brave enough to ask for my drink remade because it looked disgusting.. I got a pink drink with sweet foam (ordered at the speaker not the app so it hadn’t been sitting for too long) and it was all separated and looked like the sweet foam had curdled when it mixed with the juice and when I asked politely for it to be remade without sweet foam the barista so rudely told me no and that “separation was normal”. I was really embarrassed because I don’t ever ask for things to be remade but with the price of these drinks now I wanted a new one and she refused. I ended up throwing it out and wasting like $9. Absolutely absurd.

I have been frequently going to Starbucks 6 times a week for the last several months. I will not come here anymore. I ordered a large hot hazlenut latte made with oatmilk and have bever been ripped off like this. They ask you to tip everytime, and am glad I did not. A quarter of the cup was foam, to almost half. I thought it felt lighter than normal. I pulled over and stirred it. I blew into it, then scooped out the foam. I have never gotten half to a quarter of the cup as foam. You lost my business, and plan to never come back. So much for the stopper I asked for.
I don't like that they take their phones off the hook. I was trying to call them to let them know the cup was falling apart that they gave me that had hot coffee in it. It ended up giving out on me, all over my carpet

Alex was good wanted to give him a tip so I waited at the drive thru window only to be greeted by Payton the manager. Very RUDE and confrontational. Refused to let me talk to Alex also wouldn’t get the store manager. I asked for the corporate phone number and she told me to google it. Payton needs to be retrained or removed from management. I have never had this much trouble trying to leave a tip before. People like her will definitely keep people from coming back. Good luck if you keep her employed

It's been a while since I visited this location, they have completely renovated and my light roast, I ordered in the afternoon was served almost immediately!!!! 💯 impressed 👏 👌

I stopped in earlier this week with a request…I was having guests in the morning and wanted to make a memorable first impression. I did just that with Tara’s suggestions and assistance…bought a box of coffee and several cold sweets to impress my guests. Thank you very muchTara for make my morning small gathering of guests a sweet success. It was perfect!

I ordered from the app which stated that their store closed at 5pm on Thanksgiving which is why I went there. I get there at 4:07pm. We pulled up to the window and someone inside came to the window and stated they were closed. This lady was rude and stated that we need to come back the next day for the order or a refund. If you were closed, why did your app take the order? Also, on one the screen shots, “Order ahead not available” was not present when the screenshot was taken.

They would not give me extra topping on my coffee then proceeded to tell me that couldn’t except anything back in the window for my refund I would not go to this location there are better locations in Detroit area then this one

Every time I’ve been to this Starbucks, everyone has been great! This last time I went, I had exceptional service from two employees in particular. Emily and Ashley, they both deserve a raise!
