Camel Riders Restaurant/Resort

The restaurant was very good a little pricey. Cabin 4 was not good you could smell the sewer vent outside the window. The cabin could use a good cleaning.

Three of us had dinner last night at CR, the food was absolutely amazing as usual. Prime Rib and Chicken Kabob was dinners of choice. But what I want to rave about is our server, Josh !!! He was excellent !!!! He was very attentive , very polite , and knew what we wanted or needed when he came to the table. We have never been treated more efficiently in any other restaurant . Thank you Josh for making our dining experience at Camel Riders exceptional !!!!!

Best dinner spot in the upper peninsula hands down! Ambiance was outstanding, some of the best service one could ask for and both of those combined cannot begin to match the quality of the food. Somebody get the chef as many local awards as possible. Bring your friends, bring your family, or just bring yourself regardless you will have an amazing time. 10/5 stars.

Loved all of the food, drink, service and atmosphere, especially sitting next to a window overlooking the lake.

We love this place - food is amazing, staff are amazing, pricey but well worth it! Has always been a very hide away spot, glad to see they are getting the attention deserved - Make a Reservation!!

Excellent little restaurant in the middle of the Forest! For some of you that are complaining the prices are too high, you have to look at it this way: here on vacation so don't be cheap, also the food is delicious and the portions are not bad! If you're looking for McDonald's prices and food quality, then you might want to stay in Escanaba or Marquette! Myself, we own a cabin on County Road 440 and stopped by one night when they were real busy (a Saturday) but they still managed to fit us into the restaurant with a small table! The fact is they went out of their way to accommodate us! We each had a burger that was very tasty and not a bad price around $8 or $10? So my suggestion is if you never like to splurge on yourself don't go there and then give these people a bad review just because of the price!

Amazing food! Put off - at first - by the high prices but I ate The Best Prime Rib I've ever had! Worth the money & enough meat to fill me up the next day. Terrific service with super personable staff.
